If you used glass plates and use the modge podge method, would it be best to use waterproof sticker paper? Thinking about doing these for a wedding and letting the bridal party keep their plates.

Just got my silhouette so I’m a newbie. Tried following along and I’ve gotten the concept. However, whenever I put the width n height in one of the measurements keep adjusting to a lower number and I don’t know y?
