My partner and I run karaokes in Australia...this is our go-to song., this and timmy trumpet, ACDC..dance floor gets burned up everytime....My partner is a professional singer too and kills these songs....but in saying all that i love it when people get up and just have a go.....this guy rocked it....!!

Over on one of the sites, either College Humor or Funny Or Die, they took Jewel and gave her a make up job, wig, glasses, etc so no one would would recognize her, and took her to a popular Karaoke bar. To heighten the effect, they sent her there with a few "friends" who tried to get her to go onstage to sing. She refused a few times, but after much coaxing from her friends (calling her a different name) and by now the crowd in the bar, she got up to sing...one of Jewel's songs. Do a search. It's still there.
And just think nobody even cared that it was off key lol but this sure made his day for sure.. his reaction was totally priceless ... and that's all that matters . I had a chance to see her in concert a few years ago... it was great.
