I'm so pleased that spin bowling has proven it's worth in this series. I hope we see spin bowlers become more permanent and valued in the Black Caps test XI.
Idk why no one took NZ that seriously! From last year itself I took them as a serious contender because of their quality spinners in ajaz, santner, glenn, bracewell and sodhi. Last time NZ visited Ind they had only 1 international level spinner in ajaz and everyone else was just not even first class standard! But since past 2 years they have good spinners did well in Pak, and beat Bangladesh who thenselves do well against sena nations visiting them. Honestly i felt they were a lesser threat once they lost against SL esp by an innings in last test and santher looking completely out of form! Still they were much better side than the one which came last time around. Also last time rachin came as a below avg no. 7 who wasnt a instl quality spinner at all, and I felt he should be a batting ar, and years later he comes as a pure batter and we can see how well he has done!
They almost never took NZ seriously if they took it, it let downs you just like 2017 Champions Trophy but if you don't take NZ seriously it's gonna leave you a horrible scar. Also, NZ many times been India's Kryptonite which people tend to ignore.

@Kimber My humble request 🙏 If you can create an analysis video about India's batting performance comparison in Test cricket in the last 4 years after the Covid break , between India's Top 5 vs India's bottom 5. The bowlers are doing double job whereas batsman are good for nothing.
Kiwis are truly the best cricketing nation. Just consider their achievements: joint winners of the 2019 World Cup, finalists in 2015 and the T20 World Cup, plus frequent semi-final appearances. They clinched the World Test Championship, defeated England in England in 2021, and are now taking on India in India-a feat few teams have managed! When was the last time India, Australia, or England won two test series in SENA nations? It’s only the Blackcaps who’ve achieved this. Let’s not forget, they operate with the least resources, whether it’s ICC funding or personnel. We keep talking about the “big three” of India, Australia, and England, but they’re only “big” because of financial backing. When it comes to pure cricketing achievements, the real big three are New Zealand, Australia, and England. And let’s talk about New Zealand's domestic scene-do they have a lucrative T20 league? Not at all. Yet, they’re pushing boundaries, achieving so much with so little, almost as if they’re racing against time. I might still be underestimating them, but deep down, I know the Blackcaps will prove everyone wrong and continue to thrive, no matter the odds.
Wdym big three are England New Zealand and Australia? When it comes to pure cricketing it is India Australia and West Indies. No cricket knowledge at all? New Zealand have been good for only the past 10 years. Australia 10 trophies. India 6. West Indies 5. New Zealand has 2😂 England 3😂.

Like other pundits are reflecting, India's apparent prowess against spin has been on a steady decline for over a decade. The last noted good players of spin, whether it's Kohli, Pujara, Sharma (probably others I'm forgetting) have all either retired or are close to it with records falling off a cliff. Apart from Sundharsen (spelling?), I can't think of a young Indian batter who's promising at playing spin who's coming through. And yet their curators are still producing wickets for the sides from a decade ago- it's like if England curate an absolute rank greentop that zips every which way- doesn't matter who bats on it, they're going to struggle- it doesn't matter if they're good at playing swing or seam, there's a point where technique can't be enough. Indian curators could do worse than just chilling out a bit- the conditions in India predispose those pitches to being dry and breaking up naturally. So just let them, and have faith in your batters' techniques.
The death of Indian Test cricket. Mind you, it was not a sudden death, it was a slow one. This was always on the cards. Just look at the Indian batting performance from 2020 , after the Covid break. The top 5 batsmen have never performed. Look at that Rohit Sharma shot, was it required?? People debated he did the same in the WC 2023 final. I concede. But today was it required? Was it about to rain after lunch or last day? Why such a shot in a test. Disgusting performance. And Kohli is the main culprit in the test. He stopped performing long ago. Now it is Australia's turn to humiliate our Indian team performance in test. Mark my words, the down under will be another failure to Indian test team. They don't have skills and this skills can't be bought or brought in next 19 days.
Stop moaning and complaining and give credit to NZ where it's due. They played some unbelievable cricket and they completely outplayed India in every department. Not only did they whitewash India, but they were absolutely dominant while doing so. This is a complete thrashing which India deserves. Hats off to NZ, for playing some really high quality cricket
@ruleno2nonames when you select Brahmin based veg diet players you will have only Shortmen in your team.Shortmen are not meant for sports. You need height above 6.3ft with skills as selection criteria when you select players whether it’s for pace bowling or batting. With height you can negate swing, bounce, negate spin during batting and can trouble batsman with pace bowling and sometimes for spinners also.BCCI does not seems to apply science in cricket only cares about regionalism, casteism, money making.
BGT would be Rohit’s last chance but evidence till now suggests that like MSD he is elite white ball captain & mediocre red ball captain. Kohli was exact opposite. Two certain takeaways. Ganguly is the only Indian who was equally great in both. Last decade should have been Kohli as red ball & Rohit as our white ball captain

1:54 WHAT IS YOUR TAKE PN THE GROUND THAT HAS A HISTORY OF HIGHEST SUCCESSFUL RUN CHASE BEING 163 ONLY? DOES THIS GROUND FIT FOR A FIVE MATCH SERIES? CANNOT ICC TAKE ACTION AGAINST TEAMS USING THESE PITCHES IN ICC TEST CHAMPIONSHIP?
That's a little misleading in isolation, 4 of the 5 teams that won chasing did so extremely easily = 98/0 51/2 47/0 58/0, the closer win was 164/6, so all were likely to go well past 164 if there had been more runs to chase. There's only been 20 4th innings at all(and only 6 of those by India) 5 draws= 1 of those innings had barely started(4/1), 2 had already passed 164 (highest was 242/9) & the other 2 were also likely to pass 164 if the game had gone longer. Only 9 teams were bowled out, only 2 of those games were particularly close(less than a 96 run winning margin). Of the remaining 7, they averaged 188 (highest was 266) & still trailed by 187 - ie: they were likely being dominated overall.

@@jasonalex9917India being defeated in their home conditions has to be no 1. They did not dominate Aus in the same way that New Zealand dominated India here. Historically, India has had a much better record in Australia compared to New Zealand's record in India. Regarding the players, India has a robust domestic system and the IPL, which helps develop players who are mature and adept at handling challenges, as seen with Sundar, Thakur, and others. In contrast, New Zealand has a much smaller talent pool, with fewer than 100 cricketers active in their domestic circuit. Additionally, the conditions in India are quite foreign for New Zealand, as none of their home pitches favor spin bowling. So, while India winning at the Gabba was an upset, New Zealand achieving three consecutive victories and a clean sweep in a place where India rarely loses, especially not a series, is beyond comprehension.
Hopefully with such tremendous performance, cricket will become more popular in Newzealand. But no matter how popular it gets, it won't count much because NZ population is less than 0.4% that of India (less than a typical town population in India )
India choking on home conditions verus NZ was a writing on the wall 🧱. India's nonchalant attitude and their top players "whatever I could careless" behaviour needs to be called out. In India, the fickle minded cricket "fans" idolize these so called "cricketers" as role models is bound to put a fake over confidence in the player's minds. Now india in order to qualify for the wtc finals need to win 4 tests and 1 draw. Seemingly impossible task, imho keeping in mind we have the aussies to face in their home ground. And something tells me that the Roos will come back with a vengeance this time around. Fubar!
As a Kiwi, I can assure you the idea of a 3-0 whitewash was talked about as nothing unexpected. Except we meant for them! Don't get me wrong - I am very proud. What if India had bowled in the first test? They could well have won and then go on to win 3-0. This is crazy!
It was as if the spirit of a humble South Auckland beekeeper manifested himself in a team facing said Everest and said" follow me lads... Summa Pete! ".
Not mentally prepared to accept this defeat when these WTC points mattered so much. No one expected that it can happen and by no one I mean, not even Indian coach and captain. Let's analyze by how each individual performed for India. Rohit was terrible. Opener job is to negotiate new ball, and he always got out to pace. He is one of the best Indian batter against spin but hates taking responsibility, that is why he gets out early. Jaiswal, great. He should be better with shot selection though, he will undoubtedly the best batter in coming years. Gill, great too. He should work on his defense when leaving bowls because it has happened too many times. Virat, terrible because. You don't expect this from him. Getting run out. Pressure he took. 23 runs in 5 innings. Pant, excellent but should work on WK. Sarfaraz, really bad. If you are playing 6 innings, one 150 won't solidify your place in XI. he scored 21 runs in 5 innings. Jaddu and Ash had no idea on how to bowl for most of the series, the reason we lost the series. Couldn't contribute with bat either. Sundar, great. Siraj should be dropped. I see no reason to see him in XI on home soil. Now about captaincy and coach. If your players can't spin, you don't play on rank turners. You were winning because opposition used to choke more often than not, but this time it was India who choked and here we are whitewashed in our backyard. Everyone raised Questions on Rohit allowing easy singles to NZ, eventually that made all the difference. 2nd pacer in the team when you are preparing, rank turners, why? STOP PRODUCING SPIN TRACKS IF YOUR PLAYERS CAN'T PLAY SPIN. You either win, or lose, but these kinds of defeats are shameful and maybe, this series defeat is way more shameful than WC Final.

New Zealand were excellent and deserved the series win. New Zealand should definitely be getting more tests. Throughly impressed with Latham as a captain. O Rouke is also an exciting talent. They don't have a big pool of players but they have about 20-23 strong set of players.
Really Rohit Sharma and Kohli should be ashamed for not even putting up a fight. Not playing domestic cricket and throwing away their wickets definitely don't set a good example.
Ashamed?? Bro they should retire..
@@Samir12357 probably rohit...kohli needs a thrashing drop him let him play some first class and then come back
@@gauravyadav6315 who will bell the cat ? They think they are gods and no one can order them. They will not be playing any tour match as well in Aus. 0-5 is on cards. Aus is vying for blood. They would have taken it very seriously.
I didn't realise NZ had depth in the spin bowling department. If someone asked me to name the five spin bowlers that played in this series I wouldn't have been able to.
I'm so pleased that spin bowling has proven it's worth in this series. I hope we see spin bowlers become more permanent and valued in the Black Caps test XI.
We don't have depth in spin bowling, these are the usual suspects (even Phillips has been bowling a bit over the past two years).

MATCH FIXING
according to my Indian friends 😂
Stupidity
"...quality spinners in ajar, saunter, glenn, brace well and soda." If you genuinely believe all of those are quality spinners, you don't know spin bowling.
@@TheLeftie600 well they bulldozed through India! When I say quality I don't mean they are Warne and murli bowling together! They are better quality than u!
@@decidueye2963 NZ has been Indias bogey time many times, but routinely in ODIs and in a competition format, or in NZ. This test series was the polar opposite of the situations where India usually struggle against NZ.
@@DoubleMonoLR That doesn't mean you should be overconfident with them if you're judging it with its poor overseas test record

@Kimber My humble request 🙏
If you can create an analysis video about India's batting performance comparison in Test cricket in the last 4 years after the Covid break , between India's Top 5 vs India's bottom 5.
The bowlers are doing double job whereas batsman are good for nothing.
General Cricket fan has more cricket knowledge than jarrod kimber😅😅😂😂
Also India have won twice in a row in Australia …
Australia is currently the best team in the world.

If you said in the 2015 world cup was their greatest "almost", how about the 2019 world cup decided on a boundary count after a tied super over?
Not to mention the umpiring mistake.
"Undeniable"
Congratulations BLACKCAPS 😘😍💖
Well done NZ

Indian batters thought this was a t20 series
Yet most got defending the ball , and the guys who played it like they were playing t20 scored most runs
So better watch cricket before criticizing
They just like playing ipl. No skills for test.

There's only been 20 4th innings at all(and only 6 of those by India)
5 draws= 1 of those innings had barely started(4/1), 2 had already passed 164 (highest was 242/9) & the other 2 were also likely to pass 164 if the game had gone longer.
Only 9 teams were bowled out, only 2 of those games were particularly close(less than a 96 run winning margin). Of the remaining 7, they averaged 188 (highest was 266) & still trailed by 187 - ie: they were likely being dominated overall.

@ParthAndroid IND B defeated Australia side in Australia That has to be No 1
@@jasonalex9917 This is New Zealand's B team as well (No Kane Williamson , No Bolt and for this test no Southee )that whitewashed an unbeaten India in India.
@@respectallrushersur4363 Only Kane was missing in this Test Series.... Boult opted out from Central Contract so he wouldn't have come to Asia so it Wasn't A B side
Sad they still not popular the game in nz why
Happy to see that India lose at home 0-3, kiwis keep beating India😂
