Well if you look at it logically. Dreams are usually pulling from things you know. People and places that are familiar while the dream itself is completely nonsensical. So the people in Santa’s dream probably exist in this universe.
I’m just imagining the Burger Monster- Monster Burger going around, kicking doors open yelling “BWAAH!” And scaring the piss out of the little children and nearby villagers. This was the greatest thing ever! I’ve always watched these as a kid, but never bothered to question it. Also, the whole “Woman Santa” thing in Year Without- goes nowhere. And I hate it.
There are so many things in these movies I never questioned... now I question everything. I am haunted by Claymation Poor Woman Santa, never even had a chance to chase her dreams. Truly tragic
@@OblivialMiki Also, Jessica looks a lot like Barbra Streisand. For some odd reason. I found that a nice Easter egg. (Also- somehow all of these movies are connected in the same universe.)
@C.W.R. These movies being connected in a cinematic universe ten thousand times more complicated than Marvel brings me such unabashed joy. I am absolutely creating a Rankin Bass cinematic universe canonical timeline... which apparently includes a baby Fred Astaire and more Easter Bunnies than I ever could have imagined
That was HILLARIOUS. Pretty sure this video extended my life by a year it made me laugh so much. Your drawings and the way they move are so charming can’t wait to see more! Though maybe take a rest after this one lol. Spectacular job!
Thank you so much, thrilled you enjoyed! You just made me smile! And yes... I must rest from drawing Santa ten thousand times, but I'll definitely be using this animation technique in the future, if not for hour-long videos haha s o m a n y s a n t a s
This was a really funny analysis on the rb specials! I do have to disagree with you on Frosty being a bad character though. I understand why you think he's a weak character, but I think his charm comes from his selflessness and naivety. Also, I know the over analyzing parts were bits, but there are genuine explanations to things like the hat. Frosty only came to life because he was built with christmas snow, and my theory is that the christmas snow gave Hinkle's hat the power to bring Frosty to life. Also, I'm sure this was also a bit, but the whole thing of Year Without being a dream I never interpreted as being that. I just saw that as a recap at the end.
You do know thay are not claymation! Thay are puppets with articulated armatures their is no clay used in any of the characters. I have one DVD that shows behind the scenes on how these puppets are made. It's the same processed used in the making of The nightmare before Christmas.
You need more subs, this was pure hilarity.
Ah yes.
Winterbolt.
Aka
CHRISTMAS THANOS
Except the "Winterbolt Snap" just turns him into a tree
Still nightmare inducing though

I'll take it. It's confirmed. Heat Miser and Snow Miser are real. Case closed :D

This was insanity. I love it.
Glad to contribute to the insanity 😄
You left off Cricket on the Hearth
...I realized this about a year after I made this video and I hoped no one would ever notice. That hope is gone now

Rankin and Bass stop motion characters weren't made of clay.
