Steve - that was lovely. As you know, I have only just started on my Guide Dog Journey with Spencer. I know exactly what you mean about knowing you should feel ecstatic, but also feeling sad and guilty, because you are taking away this amazing dog from someone who has nurtured them and got them to where they are for going on 16 months or so. They do this in the most selfless, loving and compassionate manner and allow people like you and I to regain our independence and confidence. I have so much to learn about becoming a partner to my guide dog, and I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos and hearing yours and Yorkies adventures
