Today is the 2nd birthday of Velocicoaster at Islands Of Adventure! Around its first birthday, I got to experience this coaster for the first time EVER! A bit later on in the day and after many rides I decided that it was time to give this apex predator of a coaster a shot in the front row! It was just about to be prime sunset time and this was when I recorded this front-row POV for you guys. I hope you all enjoyed this video along with our reaction to the front row on Velocicoaster.

I agree with you. It’s a lot faster in the 5th car cuz that’s where I was placed when I went on this beast of a roller coaster last year in August

Rode it a few months ago. Everyone was clapping after the ride. Absolutely exhilarating, the best coaster I've ever ridden
Top speed 71 MPH
Rode it today and shortly after got the mother of all headaches 😖 had to leave the park. That said, it was THE best ride I’ve ever ridden on, but I’m 67 now and maybe time to slow down 😏

Been there, done that at 72, just 2 week's ago with 5 Adult kids and 13 Grandbabies, I agree "Insane", "What was that?" It was tuff on these old bones but worth a 'life time' of memories. The best roller coaster I have ever ridden. Ejector airtime, laterals, incredible top hat, mind blowing inversions, world-class theming-Velocicoaster really has it all, and it’s all topped off with some phenomenal operations and very comfortable restraints. I love this thing
I was going to say something about best ride but you said it much better. It’s amazing
Gaurdians of the Galaxy Cosmic rewind is my number 1 for now, heading on this soon though for the first time and looks like an easy rival

What I love most about this coaster is it doesn't do the slow clacking where you slowly ascend in elevation and get sun burnt and have to wait for the ride to be fun and instead it's biggest drop is handled by you accelerating to the very top, which is just just as fun as coming down.

This is definitely the most realistic POV of Velocicoaster I’ve ever seen. First video that actually makes me feel like I’m on the ride

It’s so much fun watching people like you enjoy the ride. Not annoying at all, it just hypes everyone up and makes the experience 10x better! And Rob just tries to be annoying. He shouts random shit like ‘Oh crap!’ Or ‘LOOPDY LOOP’ and just screams because he thinks he’s funny. And you should see his pov of mystic timbers where he just screams like a baby in ‘the shed’ and ruins it for everyone, then gets defensive in the comments when people criticise him
The thing that tops off this amazing coaster is the atmosphere as well. Being in an immersive world where everything is so well themed alongside the experience of being in a rapture enclosure with tons of near misses, animatronics etc., relentless pacing. So good honestly, you don’t get ride experiences like that anywhere else
His reaction of “what just happened?!?!” Was my exact reaction when I got off it for my first ever time on it…still to this day I don’t even know what happened and I have been on many rides and this was by far the most intense one and scariest thing of my life. I would totally go back and ride it again

It was like my first big roller coaster I was on-
I rode it for the first time 3/30/24 after dreaming of riding it for 3 years. I LITERALLY don’t think anything could top this ride ever
I thought that this was a roller coaster that I could handle UNTIL the second part…that acceleration was insane! 😁

Sheesh! I rode this on my 41st birthday yesterday and omg, it was so intense I was too afraid to open my eyes which has NEVER happened! Best coaster ever!
Thanks for sharing. This is the most intense and exciting coaster ive ever ridden. To hear the entire train cheer and clap at the last break into the station every single time is the best feeling ever.

The second launch surprised me and my girlfriend, we went into this ride blind and were left speechless after it! totally went into out top 3 coaster! thanks for sharing this POV really captures how fast this coaster actually is!

Rode this first the first time yesterday. Although my friends went on with me, they were done and needed a break after this. I could not believe the intensity and pace. Talk about talking your breath away! 10/10

Rode this the FIRST time yesterday front row left hand side, single rider! I actually felt my gut punch on that first launch. As someone who thought this ride was gonna be kiddy and overrated I was FLAT wrong. Same thing for Hagrids.....looks teenie bopper but really isn't..... the ride paces, and the launches are just everything. I think this ride tops X2, Tatsu, and Wonder Woman at Magic Mountain. I always thought those rides were the most intense and fun but VC actually took the throne. Im shocked and happy. 44 year old here.
When I went back in Nov. this was the best coaster i have ever been on in my entire life! It’s amazing in every way! Can’t wait to visit and ride it again…
Love this ride .. i prefer the back. The drop isn't as scary in front. This ride is insane!
So many people assume the front is best. I learned a long time ago. Counter-intuitive as it is, that the back is often better.

The speed after that 2nd launch looks.....terrifying. Living in England a ride on this requires some planning, but I HAVE to go on this. We just don't build our coasters like this monster.

First row is definitely the best - it's like your body feels zero stress sitting there - our fave ride for sure and it's totally awesome at night!

I've ridden coasters all over the country (USA), and this is the best by far. All the elements flow into one another flawlessly, and your ass barely hits the seat. It's comfortable, though. I'm tellin ya, for all thier problems, Intamin did a FANTASTIC job with this beast.

Your clear passion and thrill is infectious! Awesome capture, this was how I felt too. I had been following this coaster since they started building it and someone did a render of what it was going to be like, never did I expect the real thing to surpass those expectations but it absolutely did.

VelociCoaster is incredible! Hands down my favorite coaster! I went to Cedar Point in Ohio for the first time a few weeks ago and the coasters there are great, too! Steel Vengeance in my opinion has a similar intensity to VelociCoaster, but the seatbelts are uncomfortable. I wish it had the seatbelts that VelociCoaster has!
