Tom, fully agree that there is no substitute for the Walbro. I had a DLE-20 with a low mounted tank that got a lot better/smoother between upright and inverted when I mounted one of the VV RC Walbro carbs on it.
@@flyingrcdotnet I had one for the DLE 55 RA show up today. I plan to swap it out soon. The stock carb was giving me fits, and this is a competition aircraft. Reliability is critical for my application.
I had another just like this one go in at a float fly last summer. This is the replacement, now with dual receivers which you can read about on my site. I don't think I can go very long without a Valiant!
thintz12 Yes, I really liked your video about the dual receiver set up, I did not even know that was possible until you showed me, thank you for your videos!

Watching this in New Zealand. High Quality video and good article on your website
I'm also running the dle40 twin on my valiant. I'm looking to replace the carb. Is this a direct bolt up?
It is a bolt-on deal. Very good carb, mine is still flying fine years later for a buddy of mine that has that plane now.
That was on a Dle-40, wasn’t it? What model of walbro did you put on it?
www.flyingrc.net/walbrorvu.html the full review always has a bunch more3 details than I can include in a reasonable length video9.
As always another great review.
where did you get the tubing on your mufflers?
If I remember right it was from a local hobby shop
What problems were you having with your stock DLE carb? I was thinking about getting one of these for a finicky DLE 55
It just never seemed to be happy with or was consistent at a setting. Put the Walbro on and instant consistency..

Where can I buy genuine Walbro carburetors?
Valley View RC, good prices also.
@@flyingrcdotnet thank you
@@flyingrcdotnetAre VVRC genuine walbro? That is the only brand this website has...
what engine is better VVRC OR DLE
To me, the VVRC is the better value and a strong running engine. DLE's aren't bad, I just like the VVRC all around better.
Great video! Isn’t this the plane that went in?

Is that a 111
If you mean a 111 engine, nope, a Valley View RC 40 twin
Great video #gopackgo
