But before I could even start singing, I got a message that I’m scheduled for my booster vaccine so I had to push this cover to a later date. 🥺 This song has a special place in my heart, not only because it's from my favorite anime, but also because it was the first song I sang at an anime convention. 🐼💚 I’ve finally sang all four songs of Mawatari Matsuko in Yu Yu Hakusho! If you’re wondering which ones, they are the opening theme, “Hohoemi no Bakudan”, the first ending theme “Homework ga Owaranai”, the second ending theme “Sayonara bye bye” and finally this one, the fifth ending theme, “Daydream Generation”. Please check out my other Yu Yu Hakusho covers as well! And yes, I’m also planning to sing the third and fourth ending songs in the future so please stay tuned! All the songs done by Mawatari Matsuko are challenging. I think this one is particularly challenging because of the melody of the chorus. I can’t explain it well since I have no background in music, but I think you’ll notice it in the chorus when it’s a high note and then it suddenly change into a low note then high again. Aaarrrghh… My head aches just explaining about it. Hahaha! But I hope you get what I mean. 😅 I really admire the music of Mawatari Matsuko. To those of you who didn’t know yet, she’s one of my top musical influences when it comes to anison. 💖 She’s both a great singer and composer. 💚
