  • The Alan Parsons Project were a British rock band that formed in 1975 in London. The Band was essentially a Duo consisting of Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson. However, they had other session musicians join them when they recorded their songs. I will admit that the only two songs of theirs that I know, and I do like both of them, are "Eye in the Sky" (released 1982) and "Don't Answer Me" (released 1984).
Here I have a Remix of "Eye in the Sky" to a ride on the amazing London Eye Observation Wheel in London, England. The London Eye opened on New Year's Eve, 31st December 1999, just in time for the turn into the 21st Century. It is the largest cantilevered observation wheel in the world, to this day, and it's 135m high. British Airways were the original owners of the London Eye, and when I very young and first rode on it in the early 2000s, I remembered this because I thought it rather odd that an Airline Company owned and managed it. But, British Airways ownership of the London Eye ended on the 9th November 2005, and today its owned by Merlin Entertainments Limited.
