Wow! That drives home the reality to just how rare complete specimens are. Awesome.
Yes it does.
Great video, I love looking for artifacts and knapping my own. Never seen anyone restore a broken point before.
Our method of restoration is a fun way to expand the hobby.
Awesome job on the restorations! Great music too! 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
Enjoyed the video!
Great restoration on those points guys!

That is good work right there love it my brother used to Knapp mine back out for me Love the music too
Thanks 👍
I've been guilty of knapping on real artifacts before. Mostly turning brokes into display points. But I have worked some that only had the tips broke off and I reworked it. Some folks get mad at me lol.
I'm not sure if I'd be mad or not lol. It is your collection and your decision.

It's really strange seeing snow on a Sago Palm.

I have a few points I need restored..is there a link where I can see where to send them to have them restored ?
Look up "etchinstone" on Instagram. Keith Etchison does a great job.
Is the product a kit,2 part, what thickness?
I don't think I understand your question. It is Paleo Bond.
Is it a tube? Does the hardner come wilth it. On google I see a couple of paleo bond products.

I personally frown on Donny Dusters reworking points. I also dislike new points being aged and passed off as Authentic.
Thank you for your comment. If you will notice, Matthew has special cases for the points he restores. They contain plaques indicating restored. Also we said during the video to be open and honest about which points are restored. We possess the same feelings of distain as you.
What are the bonding materials you are using?
Paleo Bond
Why?
Why not?
