【2024年花見】桜の新スポットでさくらまつり開催!!ぶらり旅 第439回「岡山県:羅生門」-見頃,桜,アクセス,絶景,駐車場-

ふらっと出かけた場所を紹介しようと思います。
2024年4月に岡山県新見市にある「羅生門」に行きました。
・羅生門
国の天然記念物にも指定されている、高さ約40ｍの天然の石門。
地下の洞窟だった場所（鍾乳洞）が一部を残して陥没し、高さ約４０mの石灰岩の巨大アーチとして残っています。
駐車場から遊歩道を５分ぐらい歩くと突如現れる巨大な門は圧巻の景色。
第１の門を抜けて奥へ進むと現れる洞口から吹き出す低温多湿な空気によって、夏でも涼しく、高山性や北方系のコケ植物なども見ることができます。
平成２９年、平成３０年に発生した落石・落木及び平成３０年７月豪雨の影響等で、一部の立ち入りを禁止にしています。
（第１展望台、第１の門手前までは、進入できます。）
・羅生門さくらまつり2024
開催期間：2024年03月31日(日) ～ 2024年04月29日(月)
駐車場横には「さくら公園」があり、素敵な春の装いが見られます。
11種類約７００本の桜があるため、見ごろ期間は４月初旬から５月初旬までと、かなり長めです。
毎年４月から５月の連休終わりごろまでライトアップをしており、夜桜を楽しむこともできます。
羅生門非公開エリアを特別公開。普段は入れないエリアを専門のガイドがご案内します。
■開催日：２０２４年４月１４日（日）、４月２１日（日）
①１１：００～　　②１３：００～（※各回、約６０分です。）
■参加費　：３００円／１人
■参加資格：健康で約６０分歩行できる方
I would like to introduce you to the places I went to.
In April 2024, I went to "Rashomon" in Niimi City, Okayama Prefecture.
・Rashomon
A natural stone gate approximately 40m high that has been designated as a national natural monument.
What used to be an underground cave (a limestone cave) has collapsed, leaving only a portion of it, and it remains as a huge limestone arch approximately 40m high.
After walking for about 5 minutes along the promenade from the parking lot, the huge gate that suddenly appears is a spectacular sight.
As you go through the first gate and go deeper into the cave, the cool and humid air that blows out from the cave mouth keeps you cool even in summer, and you can also see alpine and northern moss plants.
Due to falling rocks and trees that occurred in 2017 and 2018, as well as the heavy rains in July 2018, entry into some areas is prohibited.
(You can enter up to the first observation deck and in front of the first gate.)
・Rashomon Sakura Festival 2024
Event period: Sunday, March 31, 2024 to Monday, April 29, 2024
There is a ``Sakura Park'' next to the parking lot where you can see the beautiful spring colors.
There are about 700 cherry trees of 11 different types, so the best viewing period is from early April to early May, which is quite long.
The cherry blossoms are illuminated every year from April to the end of the May holidays, so you can enjoy the cherry blossoms at night.
Special release of Rashomon non-public area. A professional guide will take you to areas that are normally not accessible.

■Participation fee: 300 yen/1 person
■Participant qualifications: Those who are healthy and can walk for about 60 minutes
