glad you do what you do for rust Camomo. i havent played rust since the old version but had a pretty terrible experience on some servers due to admins cheating and supplying their butt buddies with loot. Also ended up getting banned because we got proof of them cheating lol.
I feel you, I was playing on a spanish server once, there was a dude with 10k hours playing there, he was one of the most blatant cheaters I've seen in my 5k hours, no fall dmg, blatant aim lock, blatant ESP and as my clan reported him we cann got instantly banned, guessing the cheater was friends with the admin, also NEVER play in Apollo Rust, cheaters can just buy unban in that shit server, theres a cheaters clan playing there, I've seen most of them geting banned and unbanned few hours later, more than once

People get banned constantly, however the rust cheat devs are quite good at what they do, the cheats you download are replaced by an ai every 3 minutes and you re download every time you use it. Traditional anti cheats like eac don't look for someone to likely be cheating, they look for 100% conclusive proof that they are. Once they have the proof they do not ban you until they reverse engineer the code so they can ban others this is a problem because as I said their are no two alike.
The anti cheat to this game must need SERIOUS updating for someone like this to go undetected. absolutely insane.
Oh, EAC knows they are cheating, but it's not in their best interests to ban the cheaters asap. Cheaters would stop buying new accounts if theirs got insta-banned the moment they logged in... but letting them stew for a few hours or days makes them more inclined to buy a new account after being banned.
After all, it's cheaters that pay for the game like it's a subscription...
No we need more RP things for people who call it off for the wipe when they get a SAR

raid sim admins are horrible I got banned for buying vip and turning on teamkill which was a vip feature and we did base roams.
I love Rust, but watching it become rotten through the slow behavior of Easy Anti-Cheat in regards to slowly banning such garbage. I'm afraid that's what's going to kill this game. It has tired me out enough to sell some off my in-game items.

I myself was an admin in DayZ: Epoch Mod for a few years and spent a huge number of hours observing players to not suspect innocent good players and to fish out only those who have ESP because with those who have some intelligence it was the hardest to catch.

Yeah, I think most people on those kinds of servers are cheaters anyway not just as blatant.
It's honestly crazy how bad the anti-cheat is. We finished a raid and one guy instantly triple headshot 4 of my teammates, spider man'd up a wall and doubled me before he was even around the corner. I can understand with toggles being hard to detect, but being that blatant and not getting insta banned is wild.

Well when game devs don't put in intrusive anti-cheats, hardware ID bans, and push for more legislation that will put cheat developers in jail like DDoSers it's kind of the Dev's fault. They could be doing more, but they'd rather focus on what skins they can put in next. Just like CSGO.
I quit this game, I came back with the recoil update but the cheating problem is worser than ever, there's just no point.

It's hard to keep playing rust with the amount of cheaters now there at least minimum of 1 hacker in each rust video if they don't edit it out. But rust admin video like camomo bring hope that admins are fighting for us so we can have fun and play a fun game in peace so all ways f7 report player you think are cheating and give details on what happen to make their jobs easier for them and have patience
The amount of cheaters that exist today in fps games is insane. Only around 20 to 30% of the players are caught cheating, and that means the number is way higher because the others are not getting caught and banned.
I strongly believe this is a business by the same gaming companies. "triple A" companies like big as ubisoft, bethesda, EA, etc (and small like Little Orbit and Gamersfirst too) I'm pretty sure they have "hacker caves" where they develop hacks for their own games and/or other games and they sell them. Getting people banned means they will buy the game again and the hack again. It's double or triple the profit.
Because of this, the hacker issue will never go away, so I have opted to play coop and single player games where this does not happen at all.
Now, I have seen the new Anticheat AI thing being developed. It is too good to be true, and if it is true then it is a major risk for these companies and they will pretty sure give a lot of trouble to these AI developers, maybe to the point they will be scammed, sued, life threatened or whatever else.

The game has crossed a line for me. Raided by blatant cheaters on rustafied. One got banned mid raid by an admin but the raid continued and his team kept on playing. He was not the only one blatantly cheating on their team either.
Year after year is has gotten worse. I'm done until something is done. Lots of single player games and coop to be played.

Camomo, you don't have to prove that these people are cheating, we know what you do, and you don't have to sit there for hours to record proof, you have more people who believe that these people are cheating/ have cheated before, those who doubt you after seeing so many videos are probably the cheaters that have been banned by you trying to throw shade on what you do. What your followers really want to see is you messing with the cheaters by raiding them or PVPing with them and seeing them rage and turn on their rage hacks or them rage quitting. You are actually more patient than average when you spectate cheaters for proof so I think it's alright for you to have more fun instead of just spectating 1 cheater for hours.
Catching and trolling cheaters is all fun. I miss those videos where you do spectating of random craziness, or pre server wipe trolling.
I play on a battlefield server and i'm pretty sure 75% of the people on there are hacking, not as crazy as this but it's bad and pretty obvious and the shitty thing is, I also still haven't seen them banned by facepunch.

So the guy at 5:15 wasn't cheating but turned over a new leaf and was banned? Doesn't feel like he deserved to be harassed to the degree someone that's actually cheating does, even if the server has a life sentence for any game bans. Watching people actually causing damage to other players being messed with is satisfying, that was the opposite if anything.
For the 3 day tempban, although for you it may be obvious, for a program, there is almost always a non-zero chance that you will catch some legit players so maybe that's why although they could always have a permanent ban with a repeal form but how many legit people will go out of their way to repeal and how long will it take for the EAC team to review the evidence and decide if it is a false ban
this is a curb banned caused by an automatic ai detection system that only happens when you get too many kills on a fresh/low hour account in a certain period of time
