Wow! I think it is the first time that I hear Bach on an accordion played in a way that it sounds like Bach! Very subtle dynamics, nice ornamentation, absolutely lovely!
Absolutely amazing work. This is a rare gift to us all - a sumptuous combination of historically informed performance and the unique timbral quality of an accordion! The phrasing and ornaments are exactly what I expect to hear from a leading interpreter of historically informed Baroque music. An aside: did you have to simplify/modify the score to eliminate any "impossible" parts?
Thank you so much for your kind words! I haven’t changed anything with Bach’s score. (Except ornaments of course) It’s not like transcription of some piano works with long pedal or some organ pieces, all is playable without modifying or omitting any note. I have done of course my own registration and some articulation that doesn’t need to play the whole actual tone duration which is also the case of string/wind instrument to keep the clearness of polyphony and using the bellow finger combinations to keep resonance as long as it can. The Ouvertüre part is the most difficult part in this sense. Not to play it like an organ so to say 😂but rather a baroque ensemble or wind instruments concertino in my humble opinion. 😊
Beautiful, wish I practiced more as a kid, but Beautiful Musicallity
