Love mine. I don't like to use both hands to operate the key. On the desk I use a round stainless steel jeweler's block from Amazon that has an orange rubber/plastic bottom. The magnets on the TP III keep it in place just fine. The weight of the jeweler's block keeps it fixed to the desk. In the field, I attach it to a steel plate that I afixed to the bottom of my KX3. I use the key inverted and just tell the KX3 to swap the tip/ring setting in the menu. I also removed the little plastic tips that they put on the paddles. These tips are simple round tips that you might find on the end of a garden stake that you buy at Home Depot. The roundness of the plastic tips causes an air pocket in the middle of the paddle and I didn't like the spongy feel that this air pocket causes. Removing the plastic tip is easy and can be put back on if you want. I love the feel of my paddles with just the bare metal paddles. 73. W9MIC
All good points! I have a jewelers block as well just in case I need to use it in the shack and I agree the rubber tips are not the best feel. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! 73 K4FZG
As someone who has bought and sold almost 50 keys of all types and qualities (even Begali), it's really best to try a key first. What works for one, may not work for another. It's like buying a pair of elite running shoes without trying them on first...not the best policy.
It really is the best portable key. Nothing else even comes close!
This is an amazing key.
I have BaMaKey TP II, and I can say it's of top quality. I have no doubt that TP III is equally phenomenal.
Same here, I love my TP II. But both keys are a masterpiece of german engineering. Also Markus, the producer of the hardware is a really nice guy. 73
the lack of a lead was what drew me to it. if the lead fails, just pull out the spare and carry on!
Yep, that's certainly a plus versus keys with a built in cord!
The TP III is a great paddle and worth every penny I spent on it. Mine needed no adjustment out of the box, nor has it ever.
Tnx for the review. Got mine today and plan to use it in my 2 base stations ( in ON and CT )…solid, agile, easy adjustable…great stuff !
👍👍👍

It is my favorite paddle. My favorite setup is using the leg strap
I need to give that a try. Thanks for leaving a comment!
What music is this? Vry nice
Would be nice if it came with the cable
Yeah it would, but at least it's not like some that are hard wired. Thanks for stopping by and checking out the channel!
it would be nice if it came with adjustment instructions
Yeah, here's the online documentation. Kind of lacking, but better than nothing I guess! www.bamatech.net/images/TP-III_Bedienanleitung_ENG_2022.pdf
@@K4FZG thank you, I printed it. a very nice key it will take some getting used to. Love it. W5CI
Mine has the reverse coloration. It's S/N 928. 😎
A portable paddle that rivals Begali.
