I agree but sadly no they won't be arrested and happened to one of my friends and when they ask the person if they did it she responded oh no it was a joke and they only told her well don't do it again and they let her off

I hate to admit, but I don’t think we’ll see this put in place anytime soon. My son is 14 & we teach him don’t even take photos with your female friends, as accusations are more common than you think & your life will be tarnished. My daughter is 12 & she is aware of this, but at same time knows what’s wrong. We’re British Indian family & Indians parents always tell kids to greet guests with a hug & even if the child says hello but no to hug they keep pushing. I tell mine always be respectful & greet guest that come to our home. You do not have to hug anyone you don’t want to - Simple! We live in a twisted world at the moment & it’s scary. My heart aches for anyone facing false charges & I mean if you have no way to prove innocence, reputation is tarnished for life, leading to ruining & at times taking someone’s life. If you don’t like someone simply filter them out the circle, no need for lies etc.

They are, if it is proof the false allegation is fabricated by said person. If her son actually said that, she's in the clear. And burden of proof is on the state, so unless they can prove she did it out of malice, then the arrest would mean nothing, as even a public defender is getting that dismissed in court.

That may explain why their relationship wasn't good & why he's had a hard time actually connecting with his son. People don't take the effort to look deeper into other's behaviors to try to understand WHY they do or say what they do and jump to judging. It's obvious (something's) "different" about him. I wish Steve would consider this when dealing with his guests. 🙏🏼

I'm not saying she would've failed, but fabricating stories happens a lot on this show if you haven't noticed, and there's plenty of grounds to at least test her.
And if a crime did happen, and the perpetrator was just misidentified, then both the falsely accused and the accuser need justice, and try to find the real culprit.

There's always the chance that a crime actually did happen, but the victim misidentified the identity of the perpetrator. The media tries to pretend this doesn't happen though, because it doesn't benefit them as much, nor does it stir up enough controversy and outrage.
Under the circumstances that lies were told though, I 100% agree that liars should be punished.

@@emperorpalpatine1228 Not necessarily. Being wrong isn't exactly the same as lying. Lying is when you know for sure what the truth is, but you make something up that isn't a joke. Being wrong means that you actually believed the thing that you claimed.
However, I will agree with you that when it comes to criminal cases, (especially rape) you need to make sure that you get all the evidence. I understand that it's hard for rape victims to come forward, but the only way they have any chance of justice is going to the police, and doing a rape kit. That rape kit will then show the DNA of who raped the victim. (I don't want to say "her," because men can also be rape victims to both male and female perpetrators.) Then, if the accused is innocent, it will show that the DNA doesn't match. In addition, the accused could serve as a potential witness of who could've actually done it.
That being said, I don't like the idea of people going to jail for crimes based on accusations with no evidence. It's a virtue signaling tactic that attempts to show law enforcement isn't misogynist, but it backfires so badly. That's why DNA tests, lie detector tests, and gathering up witnesses are important to every criminal case.

He hasn't been any part of his life and she already has sole custody so there's no gain. Her story had details and made sense and as a mother she had to investigate. He gets no sympathy from me.

when it comes to trauma, you would be surprised how long a child can remember things that happened to them. i know from personal experience and i said nothing about it to anyone. Until i was 19 years old and it started when i was 3 up till the age of 13 and I'm just now seeking mental help for everything and I'm almost 22. I'm not able to remember like every detail but its bits and pieces and it still severely affects me in my day to day life

The allegations didn’t start the entire 5 years so what was stopping him before? Not even a phone call to his child? Steve really has to slow down on making instant judgments and then bullying people on stage based on how he thinks things are going before he even gets a lie detector test going cuz that guy is displaying a lot of depression a lot of anxiety and knowing single moms and how they act I'm pretty sure she's a hellhole to deal with and she's just enjoying Steve bullying her baby daddy and that's so cold so Steve you got to do better at instantly judging and criticizing and bullying people before you know all the facts

I doubt Denver is going to be doing any father stuff I don't care if he passed or failed the test his still a bad father even his own father said it can't use no car or lack of civilly with his ex an excuse to not be there I mean it's only the child itself that can stop him from coming over.
