I learned of Thyroid RFA from the It’s Me Jen Again channel. I was repeatedly told I was not a candidate for RFA by all but one doctor. Dr. Emad Kandill at Tulane did my procedure in December 2023. Three months later the size of the nodule shrunk by 55%. I’m very pleased and so glad I found Jen’s channel.

That's so strange is there some correlation between pregnancy and thyroid nodules. Mine as well was discovered during pregnancy. Strongly enough my obgyn tested my thyroid levels and they missed it because the levels came back normal. It wasn't until I had a test done at another medical facility that the levels came back showing that there was an issue with the levels. So on and so forth, but still during pregnancy very interesting.

Hormones can impact lots of things, including growth of tumors.

How much does it cost for rfa.

It varies wildly from location to location. Each physician or hospital sets their own rate and decides whether or not they accept insurance. So depending on whether you file with insurance or pay cash, your costs could be anywhere from $100 up to $10,000. But generally, the average cash price is around $3,000-5,000.

Hi Jen and Tricia, your video's have been so inspiring to watch. I'm trying to get hold of Dr Segkos but can't find an email for him. Do you happen to know it? Thanks
