You can get similar results with in the pot swirl and no waste your soap butter or stress to much about it. Love rhubarb. Used last week but the color was much deep that what I intented. First soap I made with rhubarb was pink and this was a remake and is very red almost burgundy color . Beautiful hearts!

Rhubarb is one of those tricky ones. I’ve gotten pink a few times too but here lately I’ve been getting nothing but red.

@ if you use the infused oil without shaking the container you will get pink, otherwise is red, in my experience

What temp did you soap at. I attempted this technique too but after a few hearts my batter got too thick. Believe I soaped to warm at 105. Mine was at 33% lye solution

90 for lye and 97 for the oils. I might increase my water percentage to 35 next time.
