It was the "the" right at the end - in the "home of the brave" that was the entire climax! People were so busy listening to the rest of it but the note change right at the end - THAT was Jazmine putting her jazz on it. And so many people just miss it it kills me.
Can I add, how she played with that timing on “spangled” on star spangled banner. That was a funky logistic right there!

My only problem was her microphone was turned down a little too low... She doesn't get the credit she deserves.... Her vocal control is unbelievable... Her lower register is on point it digs at your soul... And her run control and the way she can switch it from from smooth raspy airy... Don't get me wrong I love Brandy she's the vocal Bible.... But Jazmine is the vocal mother Earth... TV and radio does notttt do her VOICE justice you have to see her live you won't walk away disappointed

I agree. I'm from the Whitney Mariah era and nobody is anywhere near her natural talent in this generation. Adele is but an honorable mention and Beyonce is a performer. Jasmine can sit stand or crawl and sing ya scalp loose.

Great reaction, I always love your reactions, thank you,. Much love to Whitney, by all means, but there is nothing wrong with multiple hall- of- famers. And in all actuality, Whitney's ought to had been amazing, she had a whole orchestra behind her. Just saying it was a whole different energy. So if we are not ready to admit when someone does it better, let's just not even include her in comparisons. She will always be the queen, nobody is taking that away from her, but we still here and it is what it is. Peace.
You’re insane if you think Whitney needed an orchestra to be better than this. Whitney could do jasmines version but jasmine couldn’t do Whitney’s version. And jasmines is basically modeled after Whitney’s.

No that's not the point that is literally vocally still the greatest rendition in history. I didn't say yall couldn't have an opnion lol Whitney ain't just a singer from the 90's she's considered one of the greatest of all time lol its deeper then that. I think this did have some of the best vocal choices in it ever and I do got this one being on the heels of the Whitney one
