This song is for their fans.. This was the last song they released before they went into the mandatory military service.. Imagine how fans felt when they dropped this song and said goodbye for some years... And well they released another single in 2018 ... That was the last with no promo nothing.. They just dropped the song when they entered the military and it was a message for fans.. To wait for them... It's called Flower road.. It has no mv... I recommend you to listen to it with lyrics..

Bigbang's songs are so good, they are the group who's always been known for great music since debut. They write their own songs, GDragon is the main producer for the group, that's why their songs are even more heartfelt cuz you know it's them. Whenever they sing or perform, it's like putting their souls in it which makes a lot of connection with the listeners.

Understanding the meaning of the song without actually reading the lyrics is one of the reason I fell in love with BIGBANG. They made me cry, chill and dance...They have the power to make you feel the emotions of their song through their performance. They do all the talking through their music... They are born with that gift... Not to mention their insane live performances... Their songs are made to fit their unique voices... That's why they can sing it live so much better than the record... And also one of the reason why its hard for other group to cover their songs. For me, BIGBANG is the 👑King of Kpop... They pushed its limits of Korean music and helped creating a new era... no amount of money, album sales, or popularity can change that fact. they didn't change their style to be a normal idol group. MADE is an immaculate no skip album. Fun fact: They released two songs at a time over a period of 1-1.5 years and each time they competed with one another for #1 and 2. It’s because the entire album brought something different and crossed so many genres in one album. Sober, Zutter, to bangers like Bang Bang Bang, and then ballads. Each and every one of them are so talented and so different but they blend in so well as a group... Damn that one performance of BIGBANG for Last Dance without TOP, Seungri was singing the backing vocals for the last chorus I was thinking he was doing adlibs when it was actually in the song I honestly never noticed those backing vocals were actually in the track. Shoot I need good headphones.

So since BIGBANG are legendary producers in their own right, objective reactions with no bias or judgments but just vibing to the music is really briliant on your end. Strike while the iron is hot. They don’t fit to a specific genre. You should check out the rest of the Made Album and you can see different each song is. After Made, you can check their alive album. They don’t even fit to “kpop” mould, they are an artist group. As you explore Bigbang more, you’ll understand why they are dubbed as the Kings Kpop. They are also kings of live performances. Their stage presence is so intense that there is no need for choreography. They’ve been around the industry for 16 years. They dont release somg every year as they believe in quality over quantity and this is why their comeback is always highly anticipated. Still Life didn’t have promotion but still achieved perfect all kill, topping rvery music charts in Korea and even itunes. They also made it to billboard top 200.

You see, above kpop, there is BIGBANG. the Kings of Kpop, the celebrities of celebrity, the idols of idols. The no-bullshit group, no gimmick, no unrealistic promises. Just pure talent, charisma, and hard work plus a never-ending love for music.
It's always a pleasure to see the appreciation of good music and vocal abilities of the artists. You guys did an awsome job talking about the instrumental and feelings the track gives you. Check more of them, especially live performances, you won't be disappointed. The genreblending of this group is insane.
Love how you guys breakdown all the details of this track. There are so many things that separate Bigbang from all the Kpop groups. Everyone is uniquely special in their vocal style, versatility and range. Same with their fashion style. Their anthology consists of a wide range of genres. They're like the Beatles of the Kpop era and a force to be reckoned with. Although you can distinguish each voice, they harmonize very well. If you are impressed with this track and its composition and arrangement, wait till you hear them live. They love to change up the tempo of their songs in their live performances. The Japan Dome concerts are the best. They are called the Kings of Kpop and after checking out more of their music as a group or solo, you'll understand why. They set the tone for everybody else. They are the blueprint that inspired all other artists.

This kind of in-depth review is what befits Bigbang's songs.. Their musicality is next level to todays existing kpop. If you listen to more of their songs, it doesn't follow one genre, from slow to dance songs. And it doesn't end to that. If you listen to various live versions of one song, you'd notice they do different arrangements everytime..
I love this kind of video. It's like reviewing the composition of the song as well especially you have your music producer best friend by your side. It's cool watching you both. I appreciated the song more than before because of how you describe the structure of the song. The lyrics is kinda sad because this is one of their last song before going to mandatory military. You're right that because of the build up and how the instrumentals fit each member's voice the emotion was really conveyed throughout the song. The easiest way to put it is Big Bang is like the Micheal Jackson of South Korea
There’s a reason why Big Bang is Koreas #1 idol group. People might say it’s someone else but Big Bang is the group who can shoot to #1 on the charts and stay there. Currently they achieved a Perfect All Kill meaning that EVERY chart in Korea has “Still Life” at #1 that means in ALL daily, instant, and weekly charts across the nation. The charts have been reformed a few times over but only powerhouses like female soloist IU or Big Bang can easily shatter the charts and keep hitting the rooftops on the maximum available points.

You should listen to them sing this live... goosebumps with the vocals....They are known as THE KINGS OF KPOP.

If you want to get to know them better, each of them has a solo career as well as subunits. G-Dragon was the first one shown; he does most of the writing as well as production and has really good solo songs like "Untitled 2014," "One of a Kind," and "Crayon." TOP is the one with the deep voice, and he writes most of the songs with G-Dragon; he has "Doom Dada" and "Turn It Up," but he and G-Dragon teamed up as GD&TOP and had some good songs like "Don't Go Home" and "Baby Goodnight." Taeyang was the second one shown, and he has solo songs with "Eyes, Nose, Lips" and "Ringa Linga," and he and G-Dragon teamed up for "Good Boy." Daesung was the third one featured but most of his solos are in Japanese and are really short and under the name D-LITE and he has "Look at Me Gwisun" and "D-Day." Seungri was the third one shown but the second to sing, and he left the band in 2017, "Still Life" was their only release without him; he has "1, 2, 3!" and "Where R U From" as well as "Let's Talk About Love" which features G-Dragon and Taeyang.

It's hard to articulate to newcomers what these guys mean to their fans especially to Koreans born before the 2000s. These days kpop has diversified fandoms for an unlimited number of groups with BTS currently owning the biggest slice of the pie but back then there weren't AS many and these guys pretty much dominated the entirety of South Korea from almost all age brackets which was interesting cos older Koreans usually weren't interested in pop as well as quite a lot from their neighbouring countries. Like these guys were and still ARE kpop for me. The guy with the unique whiny voice was the leader GDragon and this guy is like the Michael Jackson of Korea. Every artist looks up to him.

So great that you are geting into this group. This is a slow song but a nother good one. This was whrn their were 5 members. The second singer is Seungri and he left the group in 2019 due to controversies ourside of the group. I suggest you next watch Bang, Bang, Bang - this is a banger song and will show you their diversity. But they have so much good music. Even Lies and Haru Haru from 20087 and 2008 when they were just starting out.
You gotta watch their live performances. Last Dance is also part of their 2016 SBS Gayodaejun performance.
