I got this off of PSA. they were having a deal. it came with a rechargeable battery pack that also mounts to the pic rail and drastically increases the battery life of the scope. The CR-123 batteries are now my backup and I keep six of them in the storage in my gun's stock. total price for the scope and battery pack was around $508. This has also led to me doing the most American thing ever. My couch has USB ports built in for charging. So I can charge my gun with my couch. I can then use my gun to charge my phone.
Good review. If you've stored the unit without power for a while, does it lose the zero? I'm sure the clock resets but I'm more concerned about it losing memory of the zero.
Great review! Have you tried the PARD NV 008S with LRF or the NV 008SP2 (LRF) 2k ? The laser range finder is integrated with Ballastic calculator. Most of the reviews are for air rifles and not sure why? 4.5 base magnification and only 2x digital but the PIP view is doubled so technically you get 18x digital in the small view. I hope you can review one soon. If you do review it, it has a gyroscope for rifle cant/tilt and angle and wonder how sensitive it is compared to the SG Pulse. I contacted PARD and in current firmware the Ballastic calculator does not use the gyroscope horizontal to determine (COS) correction for target elevation. Uses 18650 battery too. Has some great features, is it lipstick on pig or bargain NV?
Good review. Does the live image get pixelated at higher zooms? My buddy has the 4K Max and the live image still looks clear at higher zooms for sighting-in and I'm curious about the live image quality of the Mini.
Any time you zoom in your resolution goes down however being that it’s a 4K resolution it doesn’t get pixelated as bad as the sightmark wraith which is just a hd resolution. The image quality is the same as the 4K max
Hi! Thank you for the video! Please tell me which scope to choose 2x or 4x for hunting at distances from 50 to 200 yards. And please tell me how to download videos frrom Sightmark Wraith 4k Mini to phone? Thank youfor your time!
A review on midway says this “I chose the 2x base magnification instead of the 4x due to the environment I'm in (thick woodlands of N. GA). The 2x works like a charm and keeps you from feeling like you have your nose smashed in the trees every time you look through the optic. One of my coworkers bought the 4x and it's still just as nice overall, but I'd prefer it more for open field hunting than tight woods work.” It makes sense and I was already thinking about getting the 2x-16x but I’m sure that’s what I’ll get now
I would go with the 2X version. This would provide a wider field of view, which can be useful at shorter ranges. The high resolution of this model means that it will not loose much image quality if the digital zoom is used to bump it up to 4X or 8X for use at longer ranges. In practical terms, the 2X version can also function like a 4X version with the touch of a button. The physical magnification on these scopes is fixed, meaning that there is no "optical" zoom available. With digital zoom, the image resolution is reduced with each step up in (digital) magnification. Digital optics with lower resolution can loose a lot of image quality as the digital zoom is dialed up, but the 4K Mini image in this video looks quite good even when zoomed in two or more steps.
I have orders both the Sightmark Wreath mini, and also an AGM Rattler TS 19. I don’t think I am going to like the separate IR light setup but will go with the one I like best…
i already have 2 wraiths on 2 guns i wont buy a third this one is kool i like it however my wriath HD does the same thing this one does ecept this one is lighter and smaller thats it i never deal with batteries at all i just use a rechageble power source

I literally just did the same thing, same deal.
I wish psa ships to Canada. I always want a battery pack with pic mount
UPDATE: Aug 24 PSA, they have a bundle deal, got the same scope and battery pack + tax & shiiping=$487 seems like a hella deal!
Got the same deal, you cannot beat PSA. Great NV mini scope

Good review, I have been looking for a good night scope that won't break the bank.
Just grabbed one brand new for $499 and came with a quick release. It’s truly an impressive scope for the price.
Where did you get that at, cheapest I can find a mini is Amazon for 570 and 596, seen wraith 4k max for 500, but that's not a mini

Easy fix... lithium ion cr123 batteries... not to be confused with standard lithium batteries.
I bought this unit since and imo it doesn't even need lipo4 batteries. Batteries last a long time compared to the ATN scopes.
@@SmokeNGunsBBQ ATN scopes can go 10-18 hrs depending on the model. That's plenty long!
MAP price is 799.97, you shouldn't be able to find them any less than that.
499 at PSA
$449 at PSA with the Sightmark external battery pack included right now. $30 more for the QD mount.
