VEry impressed by the mini truck
Great thing bout mini trucks is that they are light so a really muddy spot where a Jeep may get bogged a mini truck can fly through it

Very cool video I love these little mini trucks I love riding ATVs also but these little mini trucks somewhat better than a ATV because you have a cab so you can still use it when it is raining without getting wet also you have a heater and in some you have air conditioning and you can haul more with a mini truck because you have a little truck bed I will say that I have driven a couple of these mini trucks I just think they are awesome.

These little trucks are really impressive once lifted and fitted with atv/utv tires. I really like the bumpers you created on this one. Might have to copy you!,, hehehe These can basically keep up with a mid size utv but!!!!! Remember they have a roof and cab but do NOT have a proper roll bar/cage like a side by side. The cab offers some protection but if you are going to try the more extreme side of off-roading where a rollover is likely or just inevitable to happen, you might want to add a proper roll cage. I have seen some online here and they actually look awesome! These cheap little trucks can start to reach the cost of a really nice side by side once you make them just as capable and safe though. Have fun out there. I love videos like this showing someone playing with “The Toy”!!!

but you can see the problem all pickups have: too little weight at rear axle when unloaded

Is it the original dashboard?? When I was a child my father owned a Bedford Rascal (a Suzuki Carry just with another badge), and it was complety different, it was more....80's :)
Yeah this one is all original. I think it was about a '94 or '95. There were older models made that were different, and newer ones too.
do you have a lift if so how big?
Yeah there's a lift, I don't remember if it was 3 or 4 inch, and taller tires. They are 25" ATV tires on the stock wheels.

Nothing like goin muddin in a mini truck! Hardly even get dirty unless you bury it! I've got a Subaru Sambar. The engine's in the back so you get better traction without being in 4 wheel drive & it's better going down steep slopes. No endos!
but when you got to do a clutch or tranny you have to remove the whole rear suspension to get at it

Ey bud can you tell me where to get those tires and wheels you have there?
The wheels are the stock 12" ones that come on the truck. The tires are 25x8-12 Sedona Buzz Saw. Any narrow ATV tires should work and not rub with the stock wheels as long as they don't have large lugs wrapping around the sidewall. (With a lift of course, mine had a 3 or 4" lift)

Hey how capable are they really, compared to a normal ATV? I figure with a front winch and some recovery tools in back it can go anywhere?
It's heavy compared to a typical ATV, so if you're in a deep soft hole, it will sink down. If there's a bottom though, it will find it and pull... lol You definitely need a good winch if you're out by yourself. I've stuck this one bad enough that 3 4x4 ATVs wouldn't pull it, we had to call for a winch and snatch block to get it out. I've also seen this one walk circles around ATVs though in some pretty bad stuff, as long as it's not deep enough to start dragging the frame. :) i.imgur.com/nq9QRUx.jpg

Yes, it had a 4 inch lift to clear the 25 inch tires.

Is it 4x4 variant?
Yes, 660cc 4x4, 5 speed plus extra low gear with the locking rear diff. I've heard the 4 speeds with high and low range have better gearing for larger tires, but I've never driven one of those. This one had no issues with 25" tires offroad.

does your Suzuki carry have a diff lock?
Yes, this one was a 5 speed plus low with a locking rear diff. I've heard the 4 speeds with a separate high/low range were geared better for larger tires but I've never driven one with that setup.
