You should risk hitting more when you have say 13 against the dealers low 16 he won almost every hand when you stick and his next card was always a good low card that would have won you the game..use your gut feeling rather than going on what the hand book says!

that downsizing of bets was hilarious as you ran on a heater, from 400 to 100 as the cards got more favorable for you looooool, betting big when at a disadvantage in a short deck and betting small when going on heater. as expected from man who looks more like the devil gambler day by day

My opinion with sucker bets is if you play them play them all the time. Don’t jump in and out. Also don’t chase the sucker bet.
