We eat WOOD APPLE for the first time!🇱🇰 | our honest reaction

‪@dunneytravels‬ and I try Sri Lankan fruit for the first time in Tangalle! We were given Wood Apple, Belli and some other local fruit to try. We then explore Goyambokka beach as we hear it's a nice beach to visit whilst in Tangalle Sri Lanka but, like other beaches in the off-season, it's a GHOST TOWN! We go on the hunt for more traditional Sri Lankan food in the next video!

Wood Apple drink is everyone's favorite. The green one is called Weralu (Sri Lankan Olives). When fully ripen, they turns sweet and sour. We make drinks from them and super tasty. There are lot of medicinal benefits of those fruits you have eaten than regular fruits. Yellowish one is called Belli and that's a super food food for your skin as well as stomach. We make drinks using that too. Sri Lanka is full of tropical fruits which are native to Sri Lanka.
