@@RoverLanding-Adventures Understandable. Curious to see your long term feedback on the LS swap. The highway elevation I see is 4,xxx ft so the power of the stock motor is “fine” I would love to do a swap for fuel economy, but the LS swaps seem to return similar figures as the stock engine.
@@sarahdell4042 Grand Junction is 4593 feet and I'm seeing basically the same mileage (if not worse) than my stock Rover 4.6L on 32's. I don't really expect more pushing a giant brick on KM3 35's. Also keep in mind that the Trailhead 4x4 5.3L conversion is using the Rover computers directly so that comes into play too for fuel efficiency.
@@RoverLanding-Adventures Yeah that seems to be the general consensus. There’s a BMW m54 swap kit available for the Discovery 2, that would probably yield near 20 mpg on a stock truck. Given how modded yours is, the lack of power would definitely be apparent. Hard to beat the LS!!

Great looking Disco 2
@@jmena19 thank you!
Dang. Why did it take 3 years?!
Pandemic, parts shortages, moving across the country. I'm stamping out bugs now and finishing the interior as time permits.
