College definitely isn't for everyone but his cons for it tell me he doesn't understand the point of college. "Helps me speak better and write better" is what you should be learning long before college. If you want to go in a direction that doesnt require college, I get that. Just have the skills or credentials to fall back on so you're not working until you die if your passion doesn't work out.

i am sorry, this is so totally wrong - being at college isn’t about ‘developing social skills’.
attending college is about **education. when i was doing ‘a’ levels (equivalent to Advanced Placement courses), i attended classes in other subjects, like economics, besides my own.
at university, my mind was being nourished by the day. education provides a foundation for your entire life, your existence in this world. by learning a subject , i.e. biology or physics, you can apprehend the principles intrinsic to other academic disciplines.
education helps you discern very quickly truth and reality from fiction and absurd narratives. THIS is of incredible importance in an era of ‘social media’ and digital entertainment /digital making-the-brain-ever-more-helpless …..
