Thanks!
Where's Irate at?
swank is a tight last name
It's kind of a running joke for me that Sanguisugabogg is my cats favorite band. For whatever reason anytime I put them on my cat goes completely insane running around, jumping and climbing stuff to the point that he's panting at the end. He's literally never done it with any other music, so it must be some specific tone or something that triggers his insanity. I honestly want some official Sanguisugabogg pet clothing so I can hook my cat up. 🤣
hardest cat out there no cap
@@ChainSwingerHxC 😂😂😂
The pinging snare frequency must sound brutal to the cats advanced ears
Hahaha
i love this so much i want to get a cat now and play them sanguisugabogg
These guys, along with their peers, are making death metal groovy again and I'm here for it. Make metal headbangable again! Now we need this same movement for deathcore.
I love Sanguisugabogg. A+ drumming!
Love alot of these new school bands, also Frozen Soul, 200 stab wounds and ripped to shreds, so many good ones coming out alongside the revival of the old school slam Deathcore like Tactosa, Tracheotomy and 9dead! The new Sanguisugabogg is awesome, cool to see you interview em!
yes! Tact, Trach, and 9 all rule! Same for FS, 200 SW, etc.
Frozen soul hell ya
@@AOD1488frozen soul is a true death metal!!
200 stab bogg is hard core
Haha, this guy, a normal looking guy in a death metal band almost reminds me of that period in the early 2000s when people in hardcore started dressing really NICE for some reason lol. Like, you saw a ton of really nice sweaters OVER COLLARED SHIRTS, French cuffs sticking out from under the sweater sleeves, high-end denim, etc. etc. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Saw these guys absolutely tear Toledo apart a few days ago at a sold out show. I never went anywhere near it, but the pit was like a warzone. I chose to live that night😅
Sick interview 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
We Stan the Bogg👊🏻
Yeyeye love these guys !!!!! Bow to the slam , bleed for the slam , get hemorrhoids for the slam , use prescription strength “Preparation H” for the SLAM!!!!!!!!!🤘🚽👊🙏🏽🤬
The thing I love about this band is they’re not afraid to have a mistake in a recording , I’m so sick of finding a band and it sounds so over produced that the only way I enjoy a song is if I hear the live version , these guys keep the real sounds in the recording and that’s why they have been my new favourite go too band to recommend or listen to and get stoked on …. Plus if they can keep that twang in the snare or figure out an even more twangier snare maybe try the old ones from the early 2000’s with the sound holes in the side those snares were twanged to the god head , sorry Finn long time with out commenting but I’m still trying to figure out a way to make a Canadian punk/hardcore video but I’m completely overwhelmed by it if you read this man can you give any tips on starting a channel ? And please listen to alexisonfire’s first self titled album I revisit it almost every couple months and I would love your opinion on it also be aware it’s before they had local legend Rat Beard from jersey and other punk bands from my home town shredding the skins , on the first albums and the “math notes” demos it’s the old drummer Jesse who quit before the second album named “watch out” I think you owe Damian from the band Fu**ed up to listen to Alexisonfire , but I hope your doing well Finn man
Finn always seems to amaze me with the names he's able to pull for these interviews. Nice video

i remember seeing them live once and Devin came up to me after the show and knew my name. turns out he was a fan of my music before he even started Sanguisugabogg. i felt so bad i didn't even recognize him or who he was but he was able to recognize me
new school of old school death metal is awesome. undeath, sanguisugabogg, frozen soul, all rip. Should get the tracheotomy and/or Tactosa guys on here some day for the myspace deathcore revival!
don’t forget 200 stab wounds too!
Psycho-Frame
24 hours left
@@scotttheprobot9096 prolly the most brutal deathcore these days
Finn is such a good interviewer, in these interviews I'm listening to his stories most the time lol
Basically past min 20 or so this stops being an interview and becomes two guys sharing their death metal gigs memories.
It's called a podcast
Let's get that "Where's your butt flap?" merch 🤞
Love me some 'bogg. Great content and guests. Keep it up!
Thumbnail kinda looks like Caddicarus
Brining Death Metal to the craft beer crowd had me rolling !
That might have been the worst ad transition in the history of TH-cam.
Love the polka beat! Local grindcore/mincecore masters from my hometown Archagathus were my introduction to the style. Such a great band!
Lol, when I first heard "pissed" I thought, wow that snare sound is perfect for there sound!
Awe the drummer in my old band used to have a Malamor beanie. we always played this really simple riff by them that sounded sick on drums (was like hyper-easy, but still sounded good on guitar)
Really cool interview; wow you two dudes know your deep cut metal bands. I felt like I was sitting with two DM professors and it was amazing. Devin seems like a cool and pretty humble dude, and this band is worth the hype.
Just two CBT enjoyers having a nice conversation
Great interview Finn. Devin seems cool. about to check out some sanguisuga right now 😊
Did you check out Dead as shit?
Why does the thumbnail look like the guy is eating a icecream?
As if I needed another metal band singer to crush on
You should have Tactosa on the podcast!!
PUTRID STEW, LIKE STU FROM PUTRID PILE LOL
On the flip side of the dancing and fighting, I’ve seen core kids come to metal shows and get their asses handed to them for crowd killing. There’s a time and place for everything.
Crowd killing is wack af they deserve to get their asses handed to them
Love this band. Thanks Finn 🤘🏻🤘🏻
The ping snare is gone! 😭
Loving this interview, but I have to say, I despise crowd killing and honestly it's one of the things I hate about extreme music.
Pure hard core 😂
Pure hard core 😂
I like Sanguisugabogg. But its funny to me how Finn will dog acts for sounding derivative in some way, but will say he loves Sanguisugabogg. Lets be honest. They arent breaking new ground, and thats fine. Its just funny that Finn usually harps on these kinds of bands.
The new album doesn't have the pingy snare (which I'm happy with) so your first comment doesn't make sense.
The ping is definitely still there, just rounded off a bit
I want more ping. The pingier the better
Sanguisugabogg riffs are addictive and infectous . I listen to them quite a bit LoL
I love everything about The Bogg Boys, great interview.
Pretty interesting to hear the band purposely wanted to be mass appealing. It’s just music a like, blending hardcore and extreme metal without being deathcore
amazed to hear GUT mentioned by the old guy. ESPECIALLY the cumback album which everyone sh*ts on! love that band.
That's the best stuff! Genius.
Finn what scene were you even in to see that much racism in Death metal? I see it mainly in black metal, traditional heavy metal and even hardcore at times more than Death metal. Also you gotta call that out on whoever you see with a swastika cause you let it thrive in the scene if you don't beat it out of it
I went to dozens of death metal shows in the 90s in ohio and PA… couldn’t even name them all. And hundreds of comments on my videos now. But I get that metal fans won’t believe it no matter what I say.
@@FinnMckentyPRMBA Ohio and backwoods PA is definitely shady lmao that i understand in general but I feel you put lots of emphasis on metal heads being closed minded yet your perception of them seems closed minded ironically. Metal heads vary around the entire world, a metal head in Canada or in Chile is very different than the metal head in his basement in Wyoming who used to go to shows. The scene of metal in person is more alive and welcoming than ever before in history given the diversity in bands, crowds, styles of metal. Don't just categorize some online trolls or products of a fucked up 80s/90s American society as being all metal heads. I say that as someone of Nicaraguan descent who has blatant non Caucasian traits in person.
Pittsburgh isn’t exactly backwood lol, it has some of the best universities in the world
@@FinnMckentyPRMBA does the metal scene in that city not get people from the outskirts of PA?
Shout out to Odious Sanction that shit changed my life when heard it
The Bogg rulessss celebrate their entire catalog but homicidal is a gemmmmm brutal perfection jammed it Idk how many times since it dropped…merch is sick art design is one of a kind cheers for that….hailing from the murder mitten I’ll say this Texas metal is the best period the heaviness and the groove they hit down there like no other. And man it’s up to the artist to do what they want to do with their art piss off for trying to control someone’s vision dont like it don’t listen the Bogg rules keep on keeping on
that wall decoration behind him is cracking me up lol
17:50 in terms of a sense of humor and social media presence, these guys have dank ass memes.
These guys beat the shit out me in Brooklyn this week!🤘
Literally wearing my Disconformity hat while I watch this haha. I remember the endless watches of their one music video when me and my buddy got into all the oldschool/brutal and slam death metal bands way back when we were in highschool. So sick.
did anybody count how many times Finn says “I Feel Like”?
I found these guys from your channel 😃😃🔥🔥
Love Sanguisugabogg, was waiting for this one! 🔥
Great conversation. Seems like such a cool dude and I really respect the good vibes and humor they bring
It’s wonderful to see two grown men talking about how they enjoy c&bt
"Perverse/Deranged" is so heavy.
DIY scene and house shows were good times
so fucking pumped to see these guys with dying fetus in april. i am kind of more excited to see Sanguisugabogg for the first time than Dying Fetus right now to be honest
I've seen em twice. their grooves are fun to dance to
I absolutely adore this band fo sho
This band slams hard as fuck
Shout out to Putrid Stu for an absolute gem of an EP.
Also applying the polka beat outside of a folkmetal framework is pretty ingenious. Finntroll were truly ahead of their time, but slam hits different.
Bands in modern metallic hardcore do it a lot : sunami, etc
I am so fucking glad you found these cats! They are so beyond your hate and love that you carry for decent death metal. Good looking forward mang!
And, I know that I'm the guy talking shit!?
Yeah you are
Yo! Since y’all talked about the Texas Scene, check us out! We are from DEEP south Texas and have our debut album out through Redefining Darkness Records and are working on our follow up! We mix death metal, thrash, a touch of slam and other special ingredients! Hails and keep blasting!
One of the best Death Metal bands. Next get Alex from Undeath and Andrew from Ripped to Shreds. Thx Finn. You’re the man 🤘🏾✊🏿💪🏻🤎🤍🖤
Yes yes!!!! Death metal!!!! The metal that is used for death.
Love the guitars on “Skin Cushion” they sound like a freakin synth. So heavy.
band absolutely rules
Showing OH some love, thanks Sgt.
Such an awesome comprehensive interview. The names/bands mentioned in this interview will definitely become gateway bands for many
Yes
Love the boggs👊🏼💚
The snare alone deserves a grammy 🤤
We needed a modern death metal band who breathes new life into the scene with an oldschool twist.
I really appreciate this band
Its actually devin not his twin form undeath lol
Nice Ver Nice! 🗿
A merchcore parody dm band with hardcore roots. 😂
16:30 dude excited to be part of a trending tag
Sauce bruh
Hardcore dudes are making some of the best death metal right now. One thing that I think made the 90s death metal scene so special was that the music was FUN. I feel like some of these new bands are bringing that back. Love Sanguisugabogg.
