@@mmodojo I'm a returning player. I've played since original alpha and then on/off through the expansions, most prominently through SI & Catacombs though. Played Uthgard, Phoenix and now Eden. Despite getting a few characters to 50 over the years I've never properly 'got' end game (never done CL or built a template), so hope to this time round. I used to just hit 50, not know what to do and then make another char.
I went with Midgard. Thane is my jam, but decided to go RM (thanks to your other video putting them in SSS-tier) to keep it as basic as possible so I can 'learn' the game first. Am level 18 now and had a blast in the BGs last night bolt-sniping people!
The video about installing was self-explanatory from the website but I watched anyway. This video was excellent; watched it once to get interested, and then again whilst getting started to copy along although I decided to use key-binds I'm familiar with from other MMOs. Your class/tier guide was useful but I'd need to watch it again now I know more and have better context.
Your video about RvR mistakes/tips/sins was brilliant. Lots of new stuff to me I never knew and will likely watch many times over in future. I'm always panning in BG now and have a macro for spotted enemies.
Questions? I have LOTS, probably too many to list here. DAoC is quite in impenetrable game. When you ask people for help on Discord, they do 2 things: 1.) Blurt jargon at you that makes no sense to someone who doesn't know what it means in the first place, 2.) Tell you you "won't be viable" if you don't make the singular best race choice for a class. Lots of people won't give you an opinion if they can't quote it from some metachad theorycrafter.
@@hesketh7085 Yeah DAoC is too hard on new players sadly. Need community to help more. There are many things I dont even know. Hope you are making good progress and having fun. I will put up road map for progress in future.

Brand new player here. A follow up video on some more topics like stat modifiers, caps (like referenced in your video) and some basic RvR things that you need/how it works, would be really helpful. This was a great video, helped me a lot in learning this game - thanks!
Great video. You need to make one for new and returning players on what to do once you're approaching 50 and need to start working towards getting tempted. Epic quest, currency, raids, dragon, dailies, rvr, etc.

This video is great. How about one for what to do at 50? Show locations for places like SH or HoH and Dragons ect.
