Trastevere & and Terme di Caracalla :: What to do in Roma #4 ✈🇮🇹

- We continue our videos of Rome after our passage through Florence! This time we will show you two places in the eternal city that we loved. The first one, and perhaps not so well known, are the Baths of Caracalla, and the second, the famous neighborhood of Trastevere.
We begin this video showing you our room in the hotel (albergo) Cassiodoro 19. A great and cheap accommodation with all the comforts of a hotel. We found it great and the attention of the staff too. Undoubtedly we recommend staying at Cassiodoro 19. Then we continue showing you our breakfast the next day, which also came out very cheap thanks to the fact that we bought everything at Carrefour. Cheeses, olives, focaccia toast, milk for coffee and hams are a very economical option if you have a place to prepare everything as in our hotel room.
Later we will go to the Circus Maximus and we will tell you a little about the history of the Circus, which is a point of reference for the Romans, since the Circus Maximus is the place where Romans celebrate and used to celebrate the victories in the city. The Circus is very close to the Terme di Caracalla, which was our next stop.
Once at the Terme di Caracalla, we will give you an extensive tour and we will give you our impressions of the place and tell you everything we learned about this wonderful archaeological site. Honestly, quite a surprise that we loved visiting in Rome.
We continued later that day in Trastevere, which we walked to from our hotel (Cassiodoro 19, we love you!), but before touring the neighborhood well, we decided to eat something in a restaurant called Dar Poeta (Dar Poeta, we love you!). We arrived at Dar Poeta thanks to Foursquare, which recommended it as one of the best places to eat pizza in the city, and sincerely we were not disappointed, it was delicious.
Being in Trastevere, we will show you its small and beautiful cobblestone streets, we will show you its main square and we will give you a little walk through a traditional gelateria in the city, Barberini, which sells delicious ice creams!
We will finish this video and the day showing you a bit of the Trastevere at night so that you can fancy yourself and see how magical this place is when the street lights are turned on!

Bonito ver cómo son las termas, estuvimos por fuera de ellas pero no pudimos entrar, creo que fue porque habíamos llegado tarde. Saludos.
Las Termas son una actividad si se planea ir por lo menos 4 días a Roma. Esperamos que algún día puedan volver a Roma y visitarlas! Gracias por el comentario y saludos!

Hola, otra inquietud usan alguna app para ubicación en los viajes y otra cosita la cuestión del transporte publico es sencilla y saber si se necesita comprar tarjeta, gracias
Hola! Para mapas sin conexión utilizamos una app genial llamada HERE WeGo y a veces Google Maps. También es bueno usar Foursquare cuando hay wifi para encontrar buenos lugares para comer. Para el transporte público solo utilizamos el Metro y es muy fácil de usar, solo vas a unas de las maquinitas y puedes pagar con billetes o monedas. Como solo estuvimos 5 días en la ciudad, no sentimos la necesidad de comprar una tarjeta. Hola. Oye una pregunta como se llega a trastevere??? Si estoy en plaza san pedro. Hay alguna forma en metro o en tranvia??? Voy a estar alli en 2 semanas. Saludos desde bogota
Hola Juan. Si tienes planeado ir en Metro tienes que ir a la estación de metro más cercana al Vaticano, que pueden ser Cipro, Ottaviano o Lepanto dependiendo de dónde estés (Todas son línea A). Luego te bajas en Termini y haces transbordo a la línea B y luego te bajas en Circo Massimo. Desde ahí te toca caminar unos minutos. También puedes ir en bus, pero en ese caso sí creemos que debes hacer la investigación de cómo llegar. Para usar los buses te recomendamos que uses Moovit - moovitapp.com/
para entrar a las termas en donde compraron las entradas
Nosotros compramos las entradas por internet, pero la verdad es que cuando fuimos había muy poca gente y no había filas. Así que puedes comprar las entradas allá y te cuestan un poco menos que por internet. Si igual quieres comprarlas en línea, te dejamos el link por aquí: bit.ly/2MnALJ4
