- Let's sit out on the back patio and enjoy 10 hours of hard rain on a metal roof (Nature's Relaxation Music). I hope you like the sound of rain on a tin roof as much as I do. Building that roof was definitely one of my best decisions. This one of my first recordings and is still one of my most popular. This rain recording has no thunder.

I was born in Faridpur a small town in Bangladesh in late 50s in a tin roof house where we lived till I left for Dhaka for higher education in late 70s. I can remember many days and nights when serious rain and storm continued hour after hour sometimes whole night and day. This sound is close to my heart! We lived with our parents and two elder sisters in a very huge house. We had a big pond and after rain stops we saw yellow frogs are making sounds in the pond. Also mom used to cook special dishes during the rainey day and nigh. We used to go bed with my sister early taking handmade blanket. We got exemption from reading, going to school even but in the afternoon I used to play football in the big ground with my friends. After the play we went to nearby river for a good shower and sweem These are now nostalgic memories only. Thanks to you whoever is reading.

I grew up in Guatemala back in the eighties. I lived in a house that had metal sheet roofs. I really like this sound because it takes me back to my childhood. Listening to this rain makes me feel cozy.

I remember in high school working in a shop and it rained for hours. It was so relaxing listening to the rain fall on the tin roof. I fell asleep because it was relaxing.

This is going to help a ton when I sleep tonight. My left ear is ringing (the ear doctor or whatever gave me some ear drops (that are better than the ones you can buy off the shelf) which realistically does nothing.. so I'm waiting for the appointment with a real professional..
**without headphones because it would damage your ears** look up the highest pitch noise and play that on full volume that's what my left year sounds like 24/7.. so I hope that this video can help mitigate that when I try to sleep
