We got exemption from reading, going to school even but in the afternoon I used to play football in the big ground with my friends. After the play we went to nearby river for a good shower and sweem These are now nostalgic memories only. Thanks to you whoever is reading.
Growing up in a poor background this bring back so much memories at night where i would hold on to the blanket tight and sleep soundly, nothing else matter anymore.

I once went to live in a town where we don’t see the sun and always raining... we built a luxury shelter just to get better experience of the rain drops in the tin roof while on bed... this was once one of my favorite holiday spots only at night tho...

In the early sixties I was stationed in Portland,ore. At nights I fed the k-9s ,then I went to the quanset hut keep the doors open watching water flowing along the Columbia river while heavy rain pelted the hut the most relaxing days of my life. I was smoking back then
