    I watch it at 75% speed and pause often to do the actual steps in C4D. (I use Alt-Tab to switch back and forth between applications [both full screen on my laptop]). An excellent tutorial for diving straight in, even if it hurts in places. 😀

    • @polygonpen

      Awesome, it might be a little faster in this tutorial, to reduce video length, I speed it up my workflow a little bit.

      @@polygonpen No problem. It's mostly that my brain is a bit slow too. 😀 I'm doing it with R25 but it's mostly the same. Some tools are slightly different I guess. (Or, is that R25 too?).

    That camera part is so difficult. I'm just curious why he didn't fillet a cube in a separate layer and just mount it on the back panel. That topology he's forming on that part is so difficult. But overall I made the phone with this guide. Best channel for practicing c4d

    • @polygonpen

      Well, it is for education, I try to show the hard/challenging parts, but you can go with easier methods of course.

    Your tutorials are amazing, I'm new to C4D, and my computer doesn't support Octane, could you do a tutorial on how to Texturize this cell phone, with native C4D materials and render?
    Another important point, how to add a video on the cell phone screen?
    I'm from Brazil, I won't understand what you're saying, but just looking at it gives you an idea!
    please make a tutorial about it, if possible export to ELEMENT 3D!
    Thank you so much

    Incredible Tutorial! I'm waiting to dive deep into your channel. I had a Sub-D modelling query in mind, the edge loops to create the bevels are so close to each other..it is because the final camera was a close up shot? Will you keep the same distance if the shot was further for the bevels to be more prominent?

    • @polygonpen
      @polygonpen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, it is indipendent from the camera, I just try to make it as realistic as possible to real one, I mean the bevels. I think the real Iphone has sharp edges overall.
