I am growing Jackson Wonder bush lima beans this year. This looks like a very easy and simple recipe. In fact I am growing everything on that plate as well, even the corn for the cornbread. These beans are drought proof so I am going to go crazy with them. As a result, I need some recipes(besides just serving them as a side dish of plain beans). Thanks for the video!

I found this recipe of yours, I have frozen purple hull so I added them to my Lima Bean they are cooking right now I add one carrot to mine (cause that's how I make my lima beans) I am thrilled you mix these beans together Life saver for cooking beans that I didn't have enough of Thank You

What kind of cooker is that? I live in CA, I spent summers in GA and my grandmother used to cook them for me with okra and fatback. So my sister bought me some from Louisiana and I’m going to cook them together the butter beans and the purple hulled peas. Thank you so much it looks delicious.

Hello, thanks, though I beg to differ with you, I know for a fact that Crowders are a larger variety of the Purple Hull. My parents grew them when I was a kid. Some even call them field, cream and even knuckle peas. Thanks for watching!
