Love the knowledge that Terry shares. Beautiful 2002, impressive. Thank you Mike, Terry and Andrew for the tour and giving us the opportunity to purchase these fine coaches. Happy trails!
Great video Andrew. I’m really glad to see some videos on the Monaco brands. Personally, I think they were second to Country Coach but in some ways, I like them better mostly because I like the design, style of the exterior and interior. I love Country Coaches but I think Monaco deserves some credit for building some extremely high quality coaches.
Andrew, just when I think I’ve seen the nicest coach on your channel you pop out another one! Amazing coach! I wish I could talk my wife into getting something larger than 32’. This would be the one! Keep up the great work!
There is one here, up in Edmonton 2006, at the exact same price, and that one doesn’t look inside anywhere near as nice, no sorry, as beautiful as this one. What a gem 💎
Great videos Andrew, love these reviews on the older classic coaches. Do a video on what a regular guy would do to arrange an inspection before buying. I'd have confidence dealing with Terry or Premier RV, but who would I hire to look at a CC or Monaco listed in another state?
Two points I’d like to share. 1. I love wooden floors as not only do they look great but they are far more hygienic than carpet and less slippery than tiles or marble. They make the motorhome look like it’s a real home and are animal friendly 😉 2. If there’s room for a king size bed why not go ahead and install one. I’m sure it’s a winner with most people and it would save time with the purchase. I congratulate whoever had the foresight to install the solar panels as this is the future of the motorhome industry. Thank you Andrew 💝💫
I prefer a queen bed and have a queen bed in both my motorhome. Gives more space in the bedroom. My wife and I would be fine with a double bed. We don’t have pets that sleep with us. Terry
@@oreospeedwaggindoesamerica6078 usually you can send them a picture of your coach and they will make an exception. They just don't want Cousin Eddie parking in their campground. If they are hard and fast on the rule... its their loss. Lots of other places to park.
A big reason for getting a 38 foot tag axle is to gain more cargo capacity. How many pounds can this one carry? Also, thanks for the info on the stronger hitch. Will keep that in mind
THAT'S what I was waiting to her. a little commentary on what makes the chassis different. I have to say, you should/could do a sement on chassis differences. It makes a big difference.
I just bought a 2006 38" tag Dynasty Bishop. It is rare and It is a great coach! This 02 is amazing. Any way the DIY crowd out here could get a look at how you are re-enforcing the hitches on these coaches?
Sorry to be a kill joy but that propane refrigerator is getting ready to fail and burn this rig down. I guess they changed it to AC, that is good. I have a 98 Windsor 36'. Mine is failing being in the Oregon weather for the last 20 years but is a good base for a refurbishment like all new windows. Mine was built in Indiana and I think they were stoned when building it but I really like mine. It hasn't moved since I bought it in 2006. Thanks for the video.
Yes it has a switch that allows you to raise the tag when needed. Just remember that when you raise the tag the back has a 4’ increase in overhang and you may drag the hitch so do not raise the tag when going over a sloped apron into or out of a parking lot. Terry
James is just brilliant. He’ll be doing all my inspections. He’s knowledgeable, far superior to others and a really nice bloke. What more can you want?
Might want to do some shopping around... the 38 ft ones are rare, but you can get a 40 ft 2006 for less money. And this one needs tires as the rears were 2016. Add at least another $4k for that.
This is what I'm looking for. The 38 ft has a shorter wheel base and nice turning radius for tight camping... as in NASCAR infield parking. This one looks really nice and lots of upgrades but still think its overpriced for that model year. They are rare, so someone might pay that.
You have your dually (two tires on each side) rear and then another (non-driven) axle with single tires that provides more drag and/weight carrying capacity. On some you can lift the tag axle with the air bags. If the driven rear axle starts to slip (ice/wet) the non-driven tag will keep rolling and provide some stability.
I dont think they were that meticulous. all that $ and the fidge opens the wrong way a hole in the couch and the faded roof. I think it was owned by an older couple and was just professionally detailed.
@@missychan63 - One shouldn’t have to e-mail anything. I understand they want to keep cousin Eddie RVs out, but the burden needs to be on the park, not the patrons. They should be able to visually inspect on the spot.
Extremely nice older coach! Nice job Andrew. Mike is a wealth of knowledge, you can tell he knows these coaches.

For people that really enjoy excellent wood cabinets and floors it doesn't get much better than Country Coach (C/C).

Nice coach. Did anyone hear what the mileage is?
Looked it up: 108,000 $129K
Extremely well taken care of. Love the floor plan and the added solar.
Monaco or country coach are some of the best coaches ever made!!!!
This coach is a real creampuff!! Outstanding Terry and Andrew
Love Terry, old school, the keys are awesome.

Nice rig! I wonder how much does it cost to replace 10 shocks and 10 airbags?

Beautiful! This is another one for you to consider, Andrew😎
This is so beautiful definitely a winner!
Wow, under 40 with a tag? And adequate power? Nice rare combo
This is a guy I'd by a coach from. Maybe in a couple years when I retire. Country Coach for me!
The floors are really pretty!! Do you know the miles on it Andrew? Wow this is another one that is so tempting!!
Thanks Andrew
Tell ya what, this is a really really nice coach
Nice to see when people appreciate what they have.. Tag on a 38', unique.. Does the rear axle move or is it fixed?
I think it raises up and down when in 1st gear or reverse for tighter turning, but it does not steer or move like that.

What does "tag" mean
It has no differential its just straight axle

If the driven rear axle starts to slip (ice/wet) the non-driven tag will keep rolling and provide some stability.
Pretty coach. Engineered hardwood is not real hardwood. It is a fancy name for an expensive laminate.
No engineered hardwood is superior to real wood in every way!

Terry has got to lose the keys. He has a wad of keys in every video. They bang against the wood work, the paint, etc. So annoying and unprofessional.

If an RV park thinks this pristine coach is too old, one shouldn’t be going to that snobby park in the first place.
@@cmdrdarwin3682 agreed. Hahaha
99% of those kinds of resorts only have that rule to keep out cousin Eddys RV!
A lot of times if you email them photos of the coach they'll let them in .
