I am pleased to have this channel pop up in my feed. I am from Phoenix, born and bred. Up until last July I was one of the few natives living there and one of the fewer in our mid 60s. No we are in Des Moines and I am looking for a pre-emissions, pre-crap diesel pusher. Thank you for what you do.
We're 2005 Monaco Diamond Dynasty owners, hubby did his research for 6 mos. She is such a beautiful and well put together coach. The entire design, from top to bottom, interior and exterior are stellar in quality. We are long time campers and have owned tents, pop-ups, GMC Eleganza, pull-trailers, 5th wheels, and now, our forever home. You're spot on about this beauty. My husband is her best friend, he is very mechanically inclined and lives to make her better than ever. The upgrades in her electrical and aquahot systems will last another 20 years.
As a mechanic myself, I agree with most everything that you mentioned about things to look for. We own a 2003 Dynasty and have owned it for the past 15 years. When we were looking to upgrade from our 1991 Beaver quality of chassis and build of the house were the items that I focused on which turned my attention more towards Monaco and Country Coach which were the only two manufactureres I was looking at back in 2006/2007. It took us 9 months to find this Dynasty that had everything we wanted and now after 15 years we still thoroughly enjoy the coach. For a 20 year old coach with 135k miles on it I would challenge anyone to find one of similar condition and quality of that era. Thanks for the video. Mike
When talking about the cabinets and saying “ bemoan” I know what you mean. The craftsmanship on those cabinets can’t be beat today. Couple of years ago, I had my sights on a 2008 Monaco Camelot 42’ and the quality was also in that coach. Thanks for the in-depth discussion on these rigs. Whether you know it or not, you are allowing us to learn more about these rigs every time you show them. Keep it up.
Lifetime owner and tow'er of many different types and sizes of RV boxes and tow vehicles. Now I'm getting ready for the step into a used luxury coach. Quite frankly, I didn't know where to start. Then I found this and your other videos. Armed with the knowledge shared and the supporting information from related research, I know what direction I want to go in and can start the hunt well-armed. Great content and great videos. Much appreciated.
Your you tube channel is quickly becoming my go to …I learn something on every video. Building my knowledge base when I go from my class C to a diesel pusher .
What can I do without a guy like you. I am a full time RVer for 7 years now, I have a fleetwood Revolution 40c 2002. All your video are so interesting. I am on the market to get something better and this one is a pure gift. Thank you very much!
Hi James. That's a beautiful, high quality coach. I think this is one of your best, overall informative videos ever and I agree with every single thing you said in this video. When my wife and I were looking to upgrade last year, I did a ton of research and pretty much everything you said is what I found as well. Hard to beat those Oregon build coaches. We ended up with exactly what you described as the "sweet spot", a 2007 Monaco/Holiday Rambler 45' Navigator w/tag, 4 slides and 525 Cummins, 50K miles. We absolutely love everything about it, inside and out. So pleased with the quality that is everywhere including how it rides, drives, handles, etc. We had owned a '05 41' DP Gulf Stream Atrium but only owned it for 8 months. I just was not happy with the overall quality, inside and out but then again it was more of an entry to mid level coach In all fairness when comparing it to the Gulf Stream.....I paid $55K for the GS and $150K for the Navigator so I guess it's all relative....you get what you pay for. Down the road, you should do a similar review of the Monaco Signature Series to show viewers all the features of the flagship, not that the Dynasty isn't quite the luxury coach itself. On a final note, I've said it a few times.....you really shouldn't be going up on the roof when it's 115 degrees out, and probably hotter on the roof, plus it's windy. People get overheated, dizzy and then it becomes a crisis. I turned 60 this year and my wife won't let me get on the roof any more but I do sneak up there every now and then. It stresses me out every time I see you so close to the edge. In any event, a totally awesome video and I think you are spot on. Be safe and take care!
If that guy is looking for a Monaco Signature I have one for sale. It’s a 2006 Monaco Signature Conquest with 4 slides and a 600 HP ISX Cummins 67K miles. Brand new tires and 4 new airbags on front end.
This is the video I was hoping to find to confirm my own feelings from my research over the past few years. You are the best. If you really want to make big bucks with a much cushier job, you should purchase RVs you think are the best ones, fix what needs to be fixed, and sell them for a nice profit. I think you would make a killing with your sterling reputation.
31:05 The cabinetry is fantastic. That’s like a gourmet kitchen with all that cabinet and pantry space. Years ago I lived in a huge penthouse apartment with a massive kitchen and this kind of reminds me of that. I really like that coach a lot. For the age it does not look dated at all I can’t believe the layout is so open and the cabinetry is just amazing throughout!

Great video! It's nice to know there are still good ones for sale! It's also nice to see, some owners take pride in their RVs and keep them maintained.
LOVE your videos James, Keep doing what you are doing, they are GREAT! I own a video production company in KC MO and we bought an Itasca Horizon in Mesa and you checked me out at the dealership. I did not know you at the time but had seen a few videos. On the 18 hour drive home I remembered watching your videos and still enjoy them. FANTASTIC job on educating people and for that i want to say THANK YOU.. Keep up your AMAZING work and THANKS again, I am learning a TON from your videos and doing things myself. But I DO call in the professionals when I need them. THANKS AGAIN!
Wow 8 minutes in you've already laid out a clear and concise plan to follow..... I'm like 100% with you and understand...... Looking forward to the rest of this video
This video just answered soooo many questions that I had about purchasing a used luxury RV. My wife and I are looking now and hoping to find one. Definitely looking for an Oregon built coach. I watched a video on the demise of Country Coach, it's auction, and facilities today. Premier RV seems like they have a solid business plan and it's nice they purchased both physical and intellectual product at the auction to maintain service to their customers. I think most employees working for a bankrupt manufacturer would have just walked away. These guys who worked decades for Monaco, Country Coach and Beaver actually care. You don't really see that anymore today.
When we were looking we found a 2007 Dynasty Diamond, same color as this on, in great condition. It now belongs to us, we've really enjoyed it. Still learning all it has to offer.
After years of owning many RVs I bought a 2003 Monaco Windsor and I must admit that there is a huge difference in quality compared to other manufacturers. I no longer feel the need to upgrade.
Rusty is your a 42' tag axel? Ours drives like a dream, and the cabinetry is outstanding. New coaches pale in comparison. We had new flooring installed, had the dining room chairs recovered and my hubby built a televator for a tv behind the jack knife and replaced the sleeper with a double recliner, added MDC shades all around and I'll say it rivals any new coaches. Enjoy yours! Just watch the bottom of the slides. We had ours redone to be safe. Cheers!
No mine is a short 38' Tag but drives great. I just installed the Talin plates on my Flush Floor slide. I would like to recover my dining chairs also. Enjoy your coach!@@SharonTravel-u4o
@@SharonTravel-u4o My coach is actually the 38' Bishop Tag. I do like it pretty well. I did install the Gardian plates on my FF slide and had Talin work on my Bedroom slide. Sorry for being to long to get back to you I never got a notification. Sounds like you have a nice coach with great upgrades!
This is the video that I have been looking for. I am a travel nurse that is getting ready to start traveling farther out with my family two young children and my wife and I have been researching and researching but mini people just say this brand is good but do not tell you or show you why it is good or bad. Thank you so much for making this video this is very helpful and I will definitely be looking for one of the year models you have talked about that three quarter plywood walls and solid fiberglass roof cap really sold me!
This was your best video covering the history of Monaco and the change of the industry pre 09. Great companies and build quality that we seriously considered before we purchased our Wanderlodge. Thanks again James. Appreciate the content.
I really appreciate your position, and you cleverley let us know. I liked the Beaver Patriot Thunder you have/had, she was best I've seen, and oozed comfort, for less than half of this price ...as beautiful this is . Seems 2001-2007 best RVz
I have removed the slide out trays to fit larger bins and save weight. And deleated the roof AC and replaced my AC with Miny splits mounted on the rear. I did this to reduce the number of openings in the roof when I had to redo the roof. Along with deleating all the antenas and dish and roof vents and skylight over the shower. It made the new roof WAY cheaper and faster to get put in. And the extra insulation where the vents and AC were is nice for keeping the hot and cold in or out when I want.
Thank you for your videos, they are always helpful. One thing I would like to point out that the 2005-2008 coaches you mention have frame rails that are farther apart than the other brands allowing MUCH more room to work on the engine and generator. Thanks again for the videos.
James, this was a great vid. Most of the info you share I had no idea about. Your almost quarter century of experience and knowledge is priceless. Thanks for sharing more of it with us.
The video seems a little risky what you do for a living as you said in the video you do a lot of dealer work you're very smart and informative but you put your neck on the line I thought what do I know you're the expert I just watch your videos and like them very much learned a lot from you. 👍🇺🇸✌️👌
I really appreciate that you take the time to make these videos to share your knowledge and experience. I rewatch them and always learn something new! Thank you!
Just excellent review by someone that knows the anatomy. I have always believed that you buy the one that the technician finds easy to repair. Oregon is still full of RV builders. Wave
I remember reading about Navistar. they had just procured a great big government contract building armored vehicles then soon after there was a piece talking about them buying Monoco. I thought, " A Semi truck company is going to build Military vehicles AND RV's? that doesn't sound good. Everything had crashed and vultures were picking through the remnants of companies and I just thought, " I guess Navistar been visiting a lot of bankruptcy auctions. that mass buying never goes well...
i have a 2011 Dynasty on a roadmaster with 500 cummins no emissions the build quality is top notch ,it has a Navistar sticker but no tell tale differences. i had a new 2010 Diplomat before this one , it wasnt quite as good . Everything you open up to fix or maintain is really well made mostly solid woods even in places you cant see.
We are buying a 2005 Newmar Essex and agree 100% with the era quality comments. I was shocked when our RV inspector talked about the need to inspect new coaches. Sounds like QC isn’t so good today. Thanks for the great video 👍👍👍
Great video. James does a great job on his evaluations.... unbiased....and full of information. And I agree....this era of Coaches are definitely the sweet spot. Why someone would spend $500,000 plus for a new one that doesn't have nearly the build quality.
Great video! I sold Beaver Motor Coaches from 2003-2005 and they used Magnum chassis until 2006 for Patriot/Marquis. They were bought by Monaco in 2002, but they were still built in Bend in the Beaver factories, including a separate fiberglass plant. The exception being the Santiam, a Diplomat/Endeavor clone built in the Holiday Rambler factory in Indiana.
James I want to thank you for all your videos. I've watched tons of your rv videos over last year. Got into a class b full time and now have moved up to a monaco dynasty pusher your inspection techniques have made me pretty comfortable at what I'm looking at and if I'm making a good choice. My class b was new so going into a old monaco was little scary but everything I've learned from you made the inspection easy I spent about 2hrs looking at every inch. Lol. Anyways thanks again.
My 2008 Monaco Diplomat wasn't perfect but it had a lot of these attributes and was a pleasure to drive. Did 45K in 3 yrs and enjoyed every mile. Only problem was the quality control creep that seemed to doom Monaco after 2009. Thanks for the assessment.
Just stumbled across your vids today & totally enjoyed them. You're obviously very skilled at your craft & the way you share your knowledge is educational, not lecture like. Love that you include "outtakes" in your vids - you've got a new fan here!
Great info, I love my 1998 Monaco Windsor. That Dynasty has a great floor plan. Love the larger windows in the bed room, I like to be able to lay in the bed and enjoy the view.
As I look to buy a used quality motorhome, I am so happy to have discovered your channel. You provide so much great information in what to keep our eyes open for, both the good and not-so-good. Much appreciated.
Probably my favorite of all your videos. Thanks for sharing. FWIW suppose to be 110 in my part of Oregon all next week, none the less thanks for taking time out of your valuable work week in 115 and windy to impart your wisdom on my favorite diesel pushers
I have a 98 CC Magna. It amazes how solid and well built it is. Cool video. When I saw your Beaver, I was thinking that has some similarities to a CC. Now I know why.
I have a home in Mesa Arizona but I am never there past the first part of April for the same reason that you’re dealing with in this video. I basically full time in my Monaco dynasty.
In 2009, Navistar bought "certain assets" of Monaco Coach Corp. which went bankrupt earlier that year. Among these assets were some partially completed motorhomes and chassis as well as parts. Some 2009 and later models, mostly Dynastys, were built on the left over Monaco Roadmaster Semi-monocoque chassis with Cummins engines, until around 2011. They never built more of the top-of-line Roadmaster "S" series chassis but did complete, or build, chassis of the "RR8" and "RR10" raised rail design; it was the same Roadmaster "RR" base chassis using Navistar engines and other components. When Navistar "flipped" Monaco over to another company (later called REV) all the latter got was documentation , spare parts and the Monaco Beaver and Holiday Rambler brand names. Some of the brand names were used in 2014 and later for "sister" coach models, which matched American Coach and Fleetwood models.
We have a 2005 dynasty platinum for with Ralph Lauren interior 500 ISM and a 4000 transmission. It also has the fall down TV that comes out of the ceiling no TV to hit your head on. It was the show coach for Monaco that was in their show room at the headquarters. I absolutely love this coach It’s hard not to get too attached. Had a Monaco 2004 diplomat very nice interior. Great video spot on.
We bought a new Monaco in 2011 and although the inside was built quite well, the engine and chassis were horrible. We now own a Newmar King Aire and love it.
We have the same coach but in the 43Queen Ralph Lauren. Ours happens to be very special, Monaco made 26 modifications for us and numbered ours 1 of 1 Limited Edition. One thing for sure, if you are not mechanically inclined, don't buy a motorhome, any motorhome. There is always something that needs attention and dealer repair cost take a lot of fun out of ownership. So do it yourself and know your coach. It is a life style to enjoy........
nice coach, back in the day you made this vid, I was not thinking of buying one to live full-time. things have changed and I'm looking towards my future after retirement. a big diesel pusher is my main option but, things can change in the next few years
Wow does this hit close to home! I just missed out on a HR 40PBQ with the Detroit 60. Still kicking myself over it for not being faster on the draw. Ah well, I really want a 45' anyways, and now I know exactly what to look for. Now my target is an '05-'08 Monaco/HR/Beaver at 45' with the Detroit 60. I know I shouldn't get religious about the engine, but I wants what I wants, and I'm in no hurry - and that brings the luxury of choice. Thank you for this video, it's exactly the one I need at this moment!
Know I am not you but everyone asks me to check it out because I am just good at it I check everything and here in the northeast they will tell you not to get on the roof but sorry I just enjoy watching you do your thing.
Loved your video. We bought a 2006 Dynasty 42' tag axel 3 years ago and have driven it about 22k miles. We love it. The coach did sit in storage for a couple of years before we bought it so we knew it would need some work but in general it's been a fantastic experience for our first RV. Today I was on TH-cam looking at newer coaches to upgrade to and you have really made me rethink that idea. The only addition I would love is a half bath, but for the quality of new coaches and the price point it makes me think I should just hang on to this one as long as we can. Thanks so much for the insightful video!
Very informative video and timely for me…previous 1995 beaver marquis owner in search for new diesel pusher. Thanks again for the video and sage advice 👍
Well done James, now if you can showcase my 05 Vectra? So I could move into this Monaco that has been checked out by a industry expert. I'm glad I stuck around for the bloopers.
THAT Coach has always been my dream. Then they came out with Bath and a half....really hard to pass on a bath and a half. But that is a much newer coach and waaay more money.
New to RVs and stumbled on your channel and really enjoy your vids. A few comments: 1) The roof “technology” for rvs is a frightening eye opener with all the sealer, seams, etc. It’s like bondo meets duct tape. This one the roof looked pretty good though. 2) I get vertigo when you film over the side and I’m thankful that there are people like you who can do that so easily! (Have you ever fallen?! 😳) 3) A 32 foot my seems way more reasonable and I like the big red one you showed in a previous email. 4) When are the complete electric RV’s this size coming out?
all electric rvs will start with vans first, at least 10 years away for production Class A all eletric I think, but as California is a huge market for buying and travel, it might happen sooner rather than later.
wow , i really appreciate your assessments. Your a real jewel. If anyone asked me if there is anyone that I trust , I would send them right to your videos.
I think you need to add Alpine Coach to your list of higher end coaches. I had a 2001 Alpine Coach 34 for 15 years and bought a 2014 Phaeton 36, which I presently own. The Phaeton is nice, but the Alpine far surpasses it in many respects. The one thing I am not happy about my Phaeton is the slide rollers that mar the beautiful tile floors. The cabinetry on the Alpine is better as is the sidewall structural stability.
I’m sure the word will get out and everyone on the Monaco forums will be watching this video. Good job and well edited. I think some older than 2005 on the Oregon built Roadmaster’s Monaco’s would fit the bill also.
If you want to get out of that heat you could come up to Oregon and check out my dad's RV. He is going to be selling it soon and it rarely gets over 90 here.
Your videos are awesome. Thank you for doing these. I was messing with you about making a newbies video on another post, lol. All of your videos are very useful and like so many other's that follow, you are very appreciated for these. Hopefully in early 2025 a decent mid 2000's Foretravel will be available from Doug. Thank you both and everyone involved for the great info. Its definitely helpful learning everything from you guys. Happy adventures to all. 🍻✌
We own a 2008 Dynasty and we love it. Very solid and well built. I will add you forgot to mention Monaco slide bottoms are notorious for water damage and wood rot. Also my 2008 was built in the first half of 2007. So a 2009 Monaco was most likely built in 2008, when the company was still going strong. So do not discount a 2009. Great video otherwise.
I truly appreciate this video and all the other informative videos that you produce. I can't stand most of the rv reviewers and salesmen with the exception of Andrew.... he good but focusing on coaches out of my price range. I am preparing to purchase a coach in the next few months and have certainly preferred the Country Coach and Monaco line. This video really helps as I look for the one I want. I fully intend to contact you when I find the one. Hopefully I can get you to inspect it for me. I'll be calling soon!
James, I love your videos. Very informative. Maybe it’s the angle of the camera but I wish you would be more careful around the edge of the roof inspection. As a prior aircraft maintenance safety inspector I dealt with a lot of cases of injury related to falls. Please be careful. Keep up the good work.
Have owned a 2004 Monaco Diplomat and then a 2012 Newmar Dutch Star. No comparison in ride quality, the Freightliner chassis is hugely better than the Road Master 8 airbag chassis. Quality of the house is better in my opinion in the Dutch Star. The DEF and DPF emissions has not been a problem and no worries about the wrist pin problems on the Cummins ISL
You will notice the "checking" only if you look for it. We had it on our 2004 Country Coach dark burgundy color. You definitely don't want to find a 1200 series Norcold still in that used motorhome. Our's set our coach on fire in 2011. Our coach did not have the troublesome engine PTO, but others like our's did have it.

Thanks for watching! Glad you liked it
I really appreciate your position, and you cleverley let us know.
Thanks for watching
The video seems a little risky what you do for a living as you said in the video you do a lot of dealer work you're very smart and informative but you put your neck on the line I thought what do I know you're the expert I just watch your videos and like them very much learned a lot from you. 👍🇺🇸✌️👌
I really appreciate that you take the time to make these videos to share your knowledge and experience. I rewatch them and always learn something new! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!!!
Just excellent review by someone that knows the anatomy. I have always believed that you buy the one that the technician finds easy to repair. Oregon is still full of RV builders.
Wave
Thanks for watching!
Excellent information! We just bought a 2003 Dynasty and this helped our decision. We are upgrading from a 1995 Holiday Rambler Navigator.
the amount of information in this video is incredible. so many valuable tips and tricks. it makes most rv videos laughable.
Excellent video. Great job of giving reasons why you prefer certain types and years.
Thank you!
We are buying a 2005 Newmar Essex and agree 100% with the era quality comments. I was shocked when our RV inspector talked about the need to inspect new coaches. Sounds like QC isn’t so good today.
Thanks for the great video 👍👍👍
James, I truly appreciate your perseverance! Stay well!
Thanks Kevin!
Great video. James does a great job on his evaluations.... unbiased....and full of information. And I agree....this era of Coaches are definitely the sweet spot. Why someone would spend $500,000 plus for a new one that doesn't have nearly the build quality.
Thanks for watching!
SSVGD....Do you happen to know who made the Magnum chassis back in '96?
I have a Safari Sahara with a Magnum chassis.
Awesome!
Thanks for sharing!
It really does!
As I look to buy a used quality motorhome, I am so happy to have discovered your channel. You provide so much great information in what to keep our eyes open for, both the good and not-so-good. Much appreciated.
Welcome aboard!
Probably my favorite of all your videos. Thanks for sharing. FWIW suppose to be 110 in my part of Oregon all next week, none the less thanks for taking time out of your valuable work week in 115 and windy to impart your wisdom on my favorite diesel pushers
You're welcome Jeff, Glad you liked it
Love the information you put out for those of us looking for the best motor coach.
Thanks for watching!
I have a 98 CC Magna. It amazes how solid and well built it is. Cool video. When I saw your Beaver, I was thinking that has some similarities to a CC. Now I know why.
Awesome!
I watch till the end. Gotta love the blooper reel. Thanks James.
Good to learn. Thanks for the schooling on high end class A from that time frame.
You bet!
Very, very good video. Thank you James as always for this informative, honest and knowledge based video. Nice Monaco Dynasty. Happy trails!
Thanks Phil!
Very informative and greatly appreciated. Thanks again
Thanks for watching
Great Video, thanks for passing on so much Valuable info, and for being so Candid. Sorry about the Az. Heat.
Thanks for watching!
I have a home in Mesa Arizona but I am never there past the first part of April for the same reason that you’re dealing with in this video. I basically full time in my Monaco dynasty.
Yeah it's brutal
Great video, as a sidebar don't forget National out of California, they also went belly up in 2009 but made great coaches.
Thanks for watching!
You allways have smooth presentation it’s when you show the retakes I relize how much work goes into filming well done
Thank you! I never feel smooth hehehe
Another difference is the 05 has a ram air similar to the navigator that runs into the air intake from the roof. It does run very cool.
Wish I would have known all of this a year ago...I have a 2011 so you can imagine where I'm at.
Oof.
Fantastic information. I’m looking at these exact coaches. Thank you for changing how I’m going to look at this next one tomorrow. I’m a fan!
You are not wrong
Thank You for the heads up on what to look for in top tier coaches . Very informational..
Glad it was helpful!
nice coach, back in the day you made this vid, I was not thinking of buying one to live full-time. things have changed and I'm looking towards my future after retirement. a big diesel pusher is my main option but, things can change in the next few years
Wow does this hit close to home!
Glad you like it Noel!
Know I am not you but everyone asks me to check it out because I am just good at it I check everything and here in the northeast they will tell you not to get on the roof but sorry I just enjoy watching you do your thing.
Great information. Not boring as you might have thought. I appreciate the explanation of why. Good history lesson. Thanks for what you do.
Thanks for watching! :)
we full time in a 2007 Monaco Camelot. We love the quality. Great review of the Dynasty!!
Awesome, Have fun!
Thanks for sharing, I did all of the walk thru"s on all of the high in pushers, for paul events in California central valley, I mss it.
Events rv country in Fresno California.
That is awesome!
Thanks for the insights and history along with the comprehensive tour and descriptions James!! Keep 'em coming please!
Thanks, will do!
04 Monaco Windsor here. Had it for eight years. Put 70,000 miles on it so far.
Nice looking rig. It fits the sweet spot. Be safe James.
Thanks 👍
Well done James, now if you can showcase my 05 Vectra? So I could move into this Monaco that has been checked out by a industry expert. I'm glad I stuck around for the bloopers.
LOL
THAT Coach has always been my dream. Then they came out with Bath and a half....really hard to pass on a bath and a half. But that is a much newer coach and waaay more money.
New to RVs and stumbled on your channel and really enjoy your vids. A few comments:
1) The roof “technology” for rvs is a frightening eye opener with all the sealer, seams, etc. It’s like bondo meets duct tape. This one the roof looked pretty good though.
2) I get vertigo when you film over the side and I’m thankful that there are people like you who can do that so easily! (Have you ever fallen?! 😳)
3) A 32 foot my seems way more reasonable and I like the big red one you showed in a previous email.
4) When are the complete electric RV’s this size coming out?
all electric rvs will start with vans first, at least 10 years away for production Class A all eletric I think, but as California is a huge market for buying and travel, it might happen sooner rather than later.
Exactly the information I was looking for, now I know what to look for,
Thank you
Totally agree with your Pacific Northwest build.
Very interesting...reminds me of picking up VWs back in the day....late enough to be 12 volt, but not so new that they are fuel injected. :)
Very Similar
wow , i really appreciate your assessments. Your a real jewel. If anyone asked me if there is anyone that I trust , I would send them right to your videos.
Thanks Janey!
James, don't apologize about your pacing it was fine! Great video
Thanks!
Great Info! Looking for my first RV and looking at the pre-def coaches. Thanks!
Best of luck!
I’m sure the word will get out and everyone on the Monaco forums will be watching this video. Good job and well edited. I think some older than 2005 on the Oregon built Roadmaster’s Monaco’s would fit the bill also.
Thanks! I Hope so! Feel free to share it :)
If you want to get out of that heat you could come up to Oregon and check out my dad's RV. He is going to be selling it soon and it rarely gets over 90 here.
90 AND humid? eek! No really though, Oregon is beautiful...it's on my list, some day
@@AZExpert 97-100 this week so you better hold off until September haha.
Thanks Paul
I truly appreciate this video and all the other informative videos that you produce. I can't stand most of the rv reviewers and salesmen with the exception of Andrew.... he good but focusing on coaches out of my price range. I am preparing to purchase a coach in the next few months and have certainly preferred the Country Coach and Monaco line. This video really helps as I look for the one I want. I fully intend to contact you when I find the one. Hopefully I can get you to inspect it for me. I'll be calling soon!
Hope you can find just what you want
Nice video as always. And you confirmed what I already suspected on Brands.
Thank you!
This was super informative! We eventually will be in the market for a late model luxury and this really helped to know some details on the quality.
Glad to be of service
great video, I rather feel good than look good, I do think like a tech as well😁, quality, easy to get access to parts, etc
Thanks for watching!
James, I love your videos. Very informative. Maybe it’s the angle of the camera but I wish you would be more careful around the edge of the roof inspection. As a prior aircraft maintenance safety inspector I dealt with a lot of cases of injury related to falls. Please be careful. Keep up the good work.
It's the angle, I am very careful
Nice rig and great expose. All pointers you give help in my decision making for mine.
Glad to be of help
Love this rig!!! Excellent video. Them MaxForce engines were nightmares!!! Thx Mr. Filon.
You bet!
Emissions isnt a problem but making sure you have DEF is annoying
You will notice the "checking" only if you look for it. We had it on our 2004 Country Coach dark burgundy color. You definitely don't want to find a 1200 series Norcold still in that used motorhome. Our's set our coach on fire in 2011. Our coach did not have the troublesome engine PTO, but others like our's did have it.
Thats awful :(
Thanks for this. We've been looking for awhile and these are the sorts of useful commentary that we really appreciate. Nice work and thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Your timing is perfect! Thank you for posting this video - I've been wanting to get your advice, and here it is!
It's a common question I get asked
LOVE your videos James, nice modification.
Very informative excellent video!!
Thanks!
