You articulated my initial reading of Brooklynn's reaction to Darius' love confession! 😂Glad I wasn't so off base. Definitely missed a few of the emotions you spotted though. Did register shock and realization. The first should be harder to miss. 😂 Since initial viewing, I've definitely gone back and forth on what the scene means, as you could convince me she was just trying to turn Darius down nicely. His claiming she didn't feel the same way is a very reasonable interpretation of the exchange. I feel how people read the scene really depends on their own experience with romance. The most natural interpretation to me though is that she's frankly not ready to even consider romance at the moment. It doesn't matter what she feels towards him.
i am starting to believe darius love brooklynn since camp cretaceous the way he accidentally said it: if he love you half as much as i do, to brooklynn because he said to kenji in season 1 he didn't start feel that way since he broke with her and came to stay with him but for what i see in this episode she only came to stay with him like a week, things become doubtful if that is the case he lie to kenji in season 1 episode 8. He maybe has feelings for her in camp cretaceous but dont know how to handle or maybe he never realized until was to late, for what i remember he was the youngest of the group and also the leader maybe he didn't have the time for that stuff besides he was not communicating with people or understanding others, if all this is really true maybe when kenji told him he was brooklynn boyfriend darius pretend be okay with it just because kenji was his best friend and and I didn't want to ruin it so he hid those feelings all this time.
Love the reaction! Darius liking Brooklyn is ok since you can't control your feelings but telling them isn't especially after the break up when they are hurt and it doesn't help them I put more stress on them so I don't really blame Darius I blame Brooklyn for being too distracted with her work and not focusing on her relationship butbyea we have different opinions on it awesome reaction btw I loved it! I had to wait till I got home from school to watch this reaction
Now that we know the truth, it actually makes sense that the atrociraptor was the one who bit Brooklyn's arm off since it's not that big, if it was the Allosaurus, it would've been more than just the arm given the size. We couldn't see that it was the atrociraptor in the trailer because of perspective. I think all this while, the Allosaurus was trying to tell Darius "I didn't kill her, I'm innocent!", y'know, while it was running from him, I think 😅 About the breakup, I just didn't understand why it was such an urgency for Brooklyn to reply the message, it wouldn't have made the situation any different if she spent time with Kenji and replied later. I'd be annoyed if I were Kenji (assuming if it's been an recurring habit). Also, I find it odd that Brooklyn could even get the material and had the time to dye her hair green, given that she's been at Rani's house healing. She could've just grown out her natural hair, that'd be a better disguise since people are used to seeing her in her dyed hair. Just a thought.
I think while Brooklynn's not being fair to Kenji, it's more about her not really treating Kenji like a partner as much as she treats Darius like one (going to tell Darius what was going on while leaving Kenji in the dark, the fact her and Darius have always put dinos first whereas Kenji has always cared first and foremost about keeping the group together). I do think Brook's statement of "He wants me to be someone I'm not" is fair if harsh; Kenji craves stability and a partner who is always with him, while Brooklynn's obsession was going too far that was mostly because she wasn't letting anybody else (except Darius) in; she's always been a chaser / an investigator (something she and Darius do share in terms of committing everything to the mission, which I thought season 3 of Camp Cretaceous highlighted well) and I don't think that would ever change, maybe, to the degree that Kenji would need it to if they were gonna get back together.

I know, it’s really ironic, One Eye, that’s my name for the Allosaurus by the way, is following in Rexy’s footsteps as the surprise theropod hero of the franchise.
This was my theory for what happened to Brooklyn was that I did think the raptor lady was there with the Atrociraptors and that Red the Atrociraptor was the one who took Brooklyns arm and he was killed by the Allosaurus and that's what i thought Red wasn't with the other Atrociraptors in season one
Ever since that final exchange between Cabrera and that DPG Worker before the Atrociraptors were set on him, I had wondered if the Handler and the pack were also there that night, and (as demonstrated by Ghost abandoning the hunt to protect a packmate from Big Eatie) that the two assassinations basically cancelled each-other out. I just can't believe how close to the truth I really was, and I certainly never predicted that it would be Ghost (or anything other than the Allosaurus, basically) that did 'that' to Brooklynn, let alone that Darius's boss was the one to save her and was her original informant. As for who it was that set her up that night, I don't think it was Mr Kon who ratted her out, we already know that Cabrera was familiar with Dark Jurassic, as his later threats to Ben revealed, so I theorise that Cabrera somehow figured out the new buyer's identity, the Worker might have overheard/been informed about the Allosaurus 'scare' by Cabrera, and decided to inform the Broker so the Atrociraptors would be on site to make sure the hit succeeded, except I imagine neither he, nor the Broker, considered that the Allosaurus might drive off the Handler and the pack before the fatality could be confirmed, thereby giving Brooklynn enough time to be rescued. In regards to Brooklynn's secrecy around her work, I'm just wondering if part of the reasoning was to gain actual proof of the Dinosaur black market before revealing it to the others (as her asking Darius to meet her at the Allosaurus drop-off may verify), as well as potentially trying not to poke the beehive by implying that Darius's job might not be as philanthropic as he believed, or that she was getting this evidence through communications with Mr Kon (I can definitely imagine Darius, Kenji, Sammy, and Ben in particular having very strong, negative responses to those two things alone). And I wonder if that might be partially influenced by how they've rarely ever received her various hunches during their time on the islands with, shall we say, the most open mindsets; 1) Yaz had strong opinions over Brooklynn suspecting Sammy of stealing her phone 2) no-one took her seriously about the frozen flowers until Sammy and Yaz were finally shown them 3) Kenji was the only one to share some of her suspicions of Mitch and Tif until the others found out they were poachers on their own 4) even with at least some proof of Mr Kon's duplicity (and verified by some of the others), Kenji vehemently refused to listen to her (understandably, of course, but I'm still counting it) So in summary, I wonder if Brooklynn was trying to gain quantifiable/undeniable proof of this conspiracy before telling the others about its existence, as I think her intention to show Darius the DPG selling her a Dinosaur demonstrates. As for the Ouranosaurus bingo card query, I'm personally leaning towards it not really counting, but feel free to interpret it however you wish, I have no strong opinion on it

But after i finished the last episode it made me so mad, because season 3 hasn't been confirmed yet and it leaves us on a giant cliff hanger.
It's interesting, because I don't see Brooklynn liking Darius back AT ALL in the way she reacted. She looks more confused and sorry for him to me + the way she removed her foot from him. I think Darius was right in the way he described the scene last season, she tried to be nice about it (by not straight up say she doesn't like him that way) but it was clear she doesn't feel the same. I really feel like if she had any kind of romantic attraction to Darius she would have moved her foot closer (yk since it's a spontaneous reaction it would have shown that even if she rejected him because it was too soon, deep down she wanted to be with him). But here she straight up backs away.

This is probably going to be an unpopular opinion, but this episode actually made me dislike both Brooklyn and Darius quite a bit, Brooklyn for more or less blaming Kenji for their break up when it was her own obsession with her investigation that was causing a strain on their relationship and as you said, had been for a while, and Darius for in my opinion, trying to rebound Brooklyn right after she had broken up with Kenji, the way he just blurts out his feelings for her implies that he had them for a while now, as in, while Kenji, his best friend and adoptive brother was dating her, which is not okay, under any circumstances, even his whole letting her stay with him seems like he was hoping for something to happen between them. Maybe I’m overthinking this or maybe I just have a different standard of behaviour when it comes to personal relationships, but I could never be attracted to my friend’s partner, much less fall in love with them.
Honestly Brooklyn an Darius are my two favorite characters also you can't control how you feel like its alright to like your friends ex just don't try to get with them unless your friend says it's ok
Yeah, I'm disappointed in Brooklynn for the way she described Kenji. Unfortunately, I think it's pretty common to downplay or twist ones role in a breakup or argument; no one likes to think they were in the wrong, and it's easier to play innocent when the witnesses aren't around. Doesn't make it right, but it does make her character more complex and the group dynamic more realistic. This set a pretty disturbing precedence for the way Brooklynn might treat the others in later episodes. I do think it's a little odd that Darius so readily agreed to having Brooklynn stay with him after the breakup, but I don't think he was actually trying to get with her. I chalk that up to him just not thinking about it, or not knowing about the breakup when he agreed. He really thought he was just doing a favor for a friend when she asked to stay with him. Darius isn't always...the quickest to think of social rules. Maybe he had feelings for her, but didn't realize it until she started staying with him? Even if that's the case, I didn't get the impression he had ulterior motives. He's young, way too honest, and he's simping hard for the first time, so he doesn't really know what to do. That's how I interpreted it anyway. Personally, I agree with you about not being attracted to a friends partner. Even the thought of it is just... uncomfortable 🤢.
