    Does the reference suite have the original KJV translators notes? This is important, as the translators clearly pointed to their textual critical notes. These notes showed the variants in the Greek and Hebrew readings. Dr. Benjamin Blaney left the translators notes in his update of the 1611. Please look at Matt. 1:11 and see if there is a note regarding "Josias begat Jakim". This is just one of the many text variants that the KJV translators intended the readers to see.
    I await your response. God's best to you.

      Yes, the Matthew 1:11 Verse has a "1" mark on the word Jechonias in the verse, and the Matthew 1:11 "1" reference in the center-column states :
      "Jehoiachin, 2 Kings 24:6, Coniah, Jeremiah 22:24."
      And those verses do explain the reference:
      2 Kings 24:6 - So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
      Jeremiah 22:24 - As I live, saith the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence;

      Correct, this is a black letter text edition only and does not have the Words of Christ in Red.

      Did you happen to see any "Green" lettering in our over 30 minute video? We didn't either ;)
      No, we are not aware of any green lettering at all in this bible and have never heard that. There is no blue lettering either, only black and red. Hope this helps and God Bless.

    Does this Bible have the Hebrew alphabet/acrostics in Psalms, Proverbs, and Lamentations? I’m looking for a large print KJV Bible that includes them. Some just have the alphabet in Psalms 119.

    • @TheKJVStore
      @TheKJVStore  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The Hebrew alphabet/acrostics only appear in the "text" of Psalms 119 (Aleph, Beth, Gimel, Daleth, etc...) in the normal header format in the white space that separates the sections of verses (Aleph is Psalm 119:1-8, Beth is Psalm 119:9-16, etc...)
      While this bible, and no King James Version bible currently in print (to our knowledge, please reference one if you know differently so we can check it) does not have the acrostics in Proverbs 31:10-31 or Lamentations 1-4, the book introductions of both Proverbs and Lamentations do reference the Hebrew and Greek root words and significance quite heavily such as:
      Proverbs:
      "the Hebrew title of this book is Mishle shelomoh, "Proverbs of Solomon. The Greek title is Paroimiai Salomontos, "Proverbs of Solomon". The Latin ttle Liber Proverbiorum, "Book of Proverbs," combined the words pro "for" and verba "words" to describe the way the proverbs concentrate many words into a few. The rabbinical writings called Proverbs Sepher Hokhman, "Book of Wisdom."
      Lamentations:
      "Jeremiah writes his lament in acrostic or alphabetical fashion. Beginning each chapter with the first letter A (aleph) he progresses verse by verse through the Hebrew alphabet, literally weeping from A to Z... The Hebrew title of this book comes from the first word of chapters 1, 2, and 4: Ekah, "Ah, how!" Another Hebrew word Ginoth ("Elegies" or "Lamentations") has also been used as the title because it better represents the contents of the book."
      So it certainly gives the nod, acknowledgement, and background of the Hebrew alphabetic and acrostic arrangement, even if the actual alphabetical names only appear in the text of Psalm 119.

      @@TheKJVStoreThanks for the response. I have them in the following Psalms (9, 10, 25, 34, 37, 111, 112, 119, 145) in my digital KJV on YouVersion. I thought maybe there was a KJV on the market that has them in print. Most KJV bibles that I have seen don’t have them at all or only have them in Psalms 119. I have four KJV bibles and only one has them in Psalms 119.
      I’ve always thought they were a neat exquisite addition to the scriptures, especially when listening to them on audio Bible.
      They are in the following books according to this site below.
      “Scholars generally agree that there are fourteen alphabetic acrostic poems in the Old Testament, found across four biblical books: Psalms 9-10 (which is considered to be one poem), 25, 34, 37, 111, 112, 119, 145; Proverbs 31:10-31; Lamentations 1, 2, 3, 4; and Nahum 1”

      It's very interesting information and we appreciate your comments and question. We consulted a similar article for the list: thirdmill.org/answers/answer.asp/file/43307
      It's very cool that this and other King James do have them in Psalm 119 at least, and I thought it was poignant that the book introductions mentioned and alluded to them quite clearly. Thanks for the edification as iron sharpens iron. God Bless.

    If the Followers of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ WERE ACTUALLY ORGANIZED AND IN THE FIGHT IT WOUKD LOOK SOMETHING LIKE THIS:
    All Around the world Christians found a way to unite and to do spiritual battle to beat back Lucifer and his fallen ones. How could this have happened you ask? It happened when all Christians took up the full armor of God and got into the spiritual battle and use that armor and prayer the word of God to fight back all the evil in this world 24 seven 365 nonstop prayer warriors on shifts around the globe.
    Praying distinctively at strongholds that powers and principalities and all those sorcerer‘s and witches and all those who vex and try to thwart the kingdom of God on earth.
    The more positive loving kindness protruding through the lips of the holy ones fighting back evil to spare The innocent in the womb from the clutches of death and the ungodly.
    Strikeforce prayer in all cities and states and counties and towns that prohibit the word of God in public spaces and in our schools and in our governing institutions.
    Through the power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we mobilize we join and we focus and we fight with our words with the true truth of the Bible we fight back the tyrannical evil rulers and politicians who want to enslave us and take our freedom away
    It starts with each and everyone of us we need to realize that we need to mobilize as a unifying force with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to take up our swords in our power given to us and to wield it toward the good of the earth.
    The more love truth honor dignity sanctity humility holiness sacrifice empathy understanding learning cherishing peace fulfilled in our actions fighting for the truth in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to be revealed to the world. 🙏🏻. Hallelujah amen.
    Now who’s on board?
