Really enjoyed that Rob and looked like you had a really good and chillaxing time. And well done for clearing up the rubbish it really annoys me when people leave rubbish gives us respectful wild campers a bad name take care mate and looking forward to the next video 😁👍

Always pays to take your own kindling if nothing else 🔥⛺️🤠👏👏👏. Nice one Rob. Hey! That was a Grebe you filmed on the water the following morning!! Clearing up other's crap, that's very Aussie of you 😎🤠👍❗️I currently live 'on water' , it makes for lovely views but everything rusts, everything.....

I haven't been out for a wildcamp in ages, that vid has stirred my desires to get out and do one again. Can't do one this weekend but I can go fishing on the river Thames here tomorrow, which I'll probably do now, all because of you and that vid, thanks mate, ha, ha...

I think you have finally had your road to Damascus moment, the water no matter where is calming. If you're on the same river you'll end up bumping into Pete one day I'm sure, he's a nice guy. :)

rhialobran hey buddy, thanks for watching. I have had the opportunity to meet Pete at the preppers meet and chatted with him for a while. He is a good egg for sure!

rhialobran i love the water , always have . Used to row ( scull to be exact) in my teens and spent most holidays in / around the sea. Always seem happier around it 👍

Camp Life bushcraft definitely . It's about 30 mins paddle from car park so nice an easy for a first time paddle camp.

+stotas2 thanks buddy, yes I was a little wary of needles etc . Shame people carry stuff in but can't be bothered to remove at the end of their stay. 👍

Great camp, beautiful setting. Isn't it great how much the horizons can be expanded once you've got a boat available? Your quick chat about the solo thing resonated - I'd been putting off solo backpacking trips because I didn't want to be alone, and then got tired of waiting. Learned to really appreciate the solitude, it's a whole different thing! Thanks for sharing, new sub!

Yes , it sure does extend your camp grounds :) some more islands to explore in that area of which I will return too at some point soon . Thanks for subbing , enjoy the vids atb Rob

Very nice vid, Rob. Thought for a moment you had found one of Pete's locations. I don't think I will ever understand why people leave their rubbish behind, respect for taking away what you did. I think the same as you about water and am working on a project now for next year for some river camping. Done a bit of canoeing and love it. You captured the serenity spot on, thanks for sharing. Keep on keeping on.

Fantastic stuff mate! What part of the country are you in? I did a video of a trip on the thames in my inflatable and a camp on an island. It was one of the most enjoyable wild camps I've done, so relaxed! Thanks for sharing. Take care, Mark
