How close to the Rock Face are those Buildings? What happens if any rocks Break free and fall.. I presume it has never happened and the rock face is secure.. ??
Hi, very close to the Rock, yes, there was an incident few years ago a piece of rock fell, because it was very rainy for many days, I did not see what it look like, my friend said it was a big one and blocked some road, now they say it is under control, have no idea how though.
Janna hi! great walking tour video - you must do more!! Particularly interesting to see the new builds going up all along Devils Tower Road. Hopefully the under the runway tunnel will be finished this year as that will have a major impact on improving traffic flow into Gibraltar, whilst minimizing traffic pollution to a certain extent. kind regards Lee
Hi Lee! Thank you! I think the problem usually is the Spanish border, if they will continue to stop and check often then it will not change the situation much the queue will be the same but on the other side and if more planes will be arriving then pollution will not change for better, but we will see...
22:39 right, the Atlantic is quite cold. Why is the Atlantic Ocean colder than the Pacific? The researchers believe that the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC), which helps in transporting the warm tropical water up into the North Atlantic Ocean, has been slowing down, leading to the cold temperature.
I just LOVED 💖 this video. With all of the construction going on it looks like Gibraltar will soon be a major vacation spot. I have a question for Mr. Travels that doesn'r concern Gibraltar but life back in Great Britian. I'm a BIG fan of the British TV soap opera "Coronation Street". We watch it on Canadian TV. Most of the characters seem to live in groups, some are familiy others are not. Is the cost of housing in the Manchester area so much that people must live in groups to share the cost or is it because of a lack of housing? (Thanks in advance)
Hi, thank you! My husband does not like that soap, he did not watch it, so can't tell really, but yes, UK is small, expensive and there are not many houses, that must be the case.
I was looking at this as I was part of a mission team with a Christian ministry on Devils Tower Road years ago, but I lived in Manchester for more than half of my life. It is not expensive, but most of the residents of the city are realtively poor. The city is blighted by gangs, drugs and very high unemployment. A large proportion of people live in social housing, or houses originally purchased from the council under 'right to buy' (I worked for one of the largest housing associations in the UK and lived in social housing until I purchased my council house in Moss Side (sold a few years later). I haven't watched Coronation Street since I was young, but it reflects the media rather than any reality in Manchester. With regards to living together, social housing has become high demand, especially with a lot of immigration into what used to be low demand areas (like Moss Side). Coronation Street is pure fiction, but do visit Manchester if you get the chance and there used to be Granada TV tours of the studios where it is filmed.
@@paulpritchard29 Thank you ever so much for your input. I just wondered if the plot was close to reality. And as it is most stories it seems it is some fiction mixed with a little reality.
