I remember bidding on that sunset male i was still at work when it was ending my last bid was 1,015 😅 that was the first of many auctions that i lost but today i finally one an auction 😁
Congrats on the win! Sometimes I bid really early even tho I know I will be outbid, just to get the reminder for an hour left. So I lose a lot as well technically lol. I think Sunday ending times seem pretty ideal for a seller as I see a lot of activity and you can likely ship out in just a couple days as well.
I'm 33 new snakes, 4 new double recessives, some new codoms I wanted, and about to drive a hour to pickup a pastel mojave monarch boy I won the other day.
It's almost always a tough call when to get into a project and there is almost always a level of risk and the reward will scale with that risk. But you are right the projects price will fall at the base resesive level. Inevitably all base level resesives will. I honestly think this is a good thing. As more and more people create them and supply goes up, it shows that the market is healthy just that it is a buyers market right now. However the costs of Sunsets with a couple Doms / and or Incomplete Doms or even layered double and even triple Resesives will still carry a larger cost as these are harder animals to create. Still keep browsing the auctions. You never know what you will find and for what cost they will go for :)
@@RhynosRoyals my females are 2 seasons away from breeding. So I’ll be looking this time next year. My hopes are a banana cypress clown, a monarch, and an ultramel hypo.

Did you win that one from MSB Reptiles? Very cool :) Lots of great deals to be had thru auctions.
I almost bid on that sunset ball male but I don’t need it for another year where I’m hoping the price will be lower.
