Great video; thank you for posting this. I have owned Malamutes for 20+ years. Jon did a great job describing the breed and why all true enthusiasts love them. I will add to his comments, that the Malamute's sunny disposition, temperament, and love for all humans is a testament to how well the Inuit people treated these dogs over millennia. Anyone who has spent time living with this breed can see they were truly loved and valued members of their families.
This is probably the best video that portrays the strength, tenacity and team work spirit of Malamutes. thanks for sharing such a rare chance of seeing the beauty of both the nature and the Malamutes. 💕🐕🦮👍
This was absolutely amazing.. You all should be proud of completing such a difficult and tough expedition. And it was a treat watching this amazing breed of dog doing what they were meant to do. It really was an honor watching your video.. Thank you.
Malamutes are amazing dogs. My friend has one named Santa and he's the strongest dog I've ever met. Santa doesn't pull a sled, but he really enjoys tug of war, and even my friends 7 year olds together can't beat him. Amazing dogs if you have the time, energy, patience, and climate for them.
Whoa!!! A non-Canadian citizen of the commonwealth who pronounces the word malamute properly. 👍 That looks like it was an incredible adventure. You did an excellent and very professional job with this video... Head and shoulders above most TH-cam videos. Well done!!! 👍👍
It's really nice to see malamutes in their natural conditions doing what they love !! I'd really like one when I'm older but I'm hesitant as I don't know how I'd give them this sort of freedom in Europe
WOW!!! Thank you for sharing this amazing video! It looks so beautiful and the dogs are incredible!! What hard work it must have been.. you can tell it was completely worth it! You are awesome! I will definitely watch this again!! Hope you and Tim had a Merry Christmas! 🎄🎅🏼
Thank you very much! It was such an amazing experience, and Joe's dogs are just phenomenal! It was very hard work, both preparing for the expedition, and whilst out in Alaska, but it was absolutely worth it! I would do it all again, no question! :) Tim and I had a lovely Christmas! We hope you did too - Merry Christmas! x
Saw the training video, I thought you will be travelling with your dogs to Alaska but nevertheless, this is super mega awesome! I was wondering why is there a malamute that's running behind, next to the sled. Is that because he's hurt and can't pull or is there another reason?
Each US president needs to be brought here by dogsled so that they can learn why drilling for oil is pure greed. Drilling in a National protected area is positively absurd! Such beautiful animals taking in such a breathtakingly beautiful area! Mush on! Happy Trails! I also appreciate the fact that he is using a freight style harness on the dogs. Thank you for all YOU DO!

기회되면 개썰매 한번 타보고 싶네요

That definitely seems like a more fulfilling lifestyle than the bullshit I'm doing now.
Hi hi me Indian good dog
What about going to the toilet ?
Hard work? Nahh when you do something you love you cant call it work
I work and dont love my work
Why are there any Eskimos with a Mahalamut? Why by Caucasians?
I think its an animal abuse when one raises Malamutes in hot weather like California.
Even hiskies should be raised only in very cold climates.
I raised a Siberian in Hawsii. He did very well and enjoyed swimming in the ocean.
