Check oil after every ride? I check my little x pro 125 after 40 + hrs still mostly honey colored, little dark, but about same level. Lucas 10/40 semi sen. Great video. Didn't even think a about springs rusting!

I just picked up a 2020 ssr 125. What non-Oem tires do you recommend and can you do a vid on tire replacement. Also what are your thoughts on the k and n cone filter? Would like to see a carb swap vid too! Thanks.. great vids btw

Hello Congrats on the new bike you will love it! I might have an archive video I was going to post on tire changes I would recommend going to a local harbor freight and getting 2 or 3 tire spoons they are the big silver ones they work the best! and I did not like the K&N style filter it felt extremely restrictive on my bike and caused loss of power I love the UNI filter its a 2 stage filter and you can clean and reuse it! and the carb is a very simple process being it is two bolts on the head i might do a cleaning video on a carb!

Hey man, I liked your video. Do you have to disconnect the battery in order to charge it? Or can I leave the battery connect it to the bike and use a wall charger to charge the battery

Thank you so much for all of your ssr videos! I just ordered a 2019 ssr 125 semi auto and I know very very little how to maintain these bikes. I was told to replace a few things like the carb and the stock air filter before I even ride. If I have a few questions would you be able to help me out?

    • @davidarmenta4812

I don't know why you would change the carb and filter before your first ride that's stuff you can do later the for sure first thing is change that oil before you even think of kicking it the first time. use non synthetic oil i believe just 10w30, but that's the only thing i would say you need to change before you ride for the first time. Also get some red thread locker and when your assembling your bike put some on every bolt and on the break mount bolts, stator cover bolts fork clamp bolts. Do not put it on the axel nuts or on the chain tenseners. Also if you have a harbor freight defiantly go and get a torq wrench they are less than 15$ and will save you so much headache! good luck bro happy riding and make some content of your own! perhaps an unboxing and assembly video!

David Armenta I was just told some of the parts aren’t the most reliable so to replace them if I had the extra money to do so. Like the chain, tires, carb and filter.I went and bought a 130 piece tool kit from harbor freight yesterday actually. I’ll invest in a torque wrench also. I actually might to an unboxing. There’s no videos of the new 2019 versions so I’ll definitely do one actually. Thank you so much

Quick question what's the torque specs on the handlebars because I forgot to asked the dealer to adjust my handlebars? Thanks again for a great video and I just subscribed to your channel. Hello Daven Congrats on taking the steps to get a bike! I purchased my bike from www.powersportsdistro.com/Default.asp They were amazing and pretty fast. I purchased this bike for 800$ two years ago and they loaded the bike on a freight truck and delivered it to my house! great customer support and from at the time the best price the bike also came with a helmet at that time that you see in the videos! hope this helps I just assume you are from the united states if you are anywhere else I would make sure they ship there! Thanks for your support!
