Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):
Front Sub-frame corroded but not seriously weakened (5.3.3 (b) (i))
Rear Sub-frame corroded but not seriously weakened (5.3.3 (b) (i))@@scottiriddellonbass
There has been excessive rust on that car and it has either been covered up or badly repaired.
Didn't fall off tho did it, axle failed by either rotting thru near front mounts or some tosser took a grinder to it to weaken it, well never know cos no close ups of the axle.
Axle may have looked ok during it last Mot.
Unless you bar stuff around while it's jacked up during the Mot, which I do (always) front & rear suspension, it's easy to miss a potentially knackered bush, rotten components aren't always fully visible, u can only test what u can actually see.
Pisses me off that muppets automatically start slinging mud at the latest Mot tester or station, it's a 45mins visual inspection, we aint got X-ray vision.
The car's clearly had a hard life, I've never seen a rotten rear axle on any Fiesta ... Nissans Yes, never a Fiesta, I reckon some scrote's vandalised it to fail in use.
I'd like to see some close up pics of this axle, curious to see where it's snapped off.
This is what happens when old cars like this aren't MOT'D
Another fine motor supplied by Dodgy Motors Inc, all vehicles come with 1 weeks warranty.
Up in scotland i take it rusty cars up there
We get colder icy weather generally during the winter months, our gritters are constantly out salting our road and keeping things moving… The downside is our cars are more prone to corrosion on the underside due to that salt..
Why don't the recovery truck driver use a jack to lift the back end up and then put the car wheels under neath the car then use the tow truck from the rear end and winch it on back wards this is what you call health and safety
The back wheels have detached. You can't just put them back on and hope for the best.
At least the body can receive new parts, its still mint! Love Fiestas!!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Common faults with these cars im just waiting for.mines to do the same theu cant handle the potholes in our roads tbh
Owner must of heard some knocking noises or banging before it fell off
Happend to me with two MK1 Golfs
A complete breaker
My mk3 ford fiesta ghia on j reg iz better than thiz one obv😂
this is why it is important to have your car mot and repairs done properly
Exactly. My car is getting it's M.O.T on Wednesday. It has few issues here and there. If it's something dangerous like rust on axles, I'm selling it
sell it to the scrap yard if its that bad or break it for parts i had a mercedes e class that was real rusty but had good interior and engine etc got more than scrap for parts@@bjthedjdutchdude1992
So youll sell it to some other idiot without telling them? Youre half the problem with the cars on the road selling them pretending theyre fine @bjthedjdutchdude1992
Shut up
Maybe someone has changed the rear beam bushes and not tightned the bolts up correctly
The area where the bushes are are no longer attached to the axle.
Definitely not going to that MOT centre 😂😂
Untaxed Vehicle CA56KSX is not Taxed
Tax due: 1 October 2023. Says enough
The car was scrapped directly after this incident..
Fit for scrapyard!!!!!
That’s exactly where it went 🫡
Scrapyard next stop, car dealership on the way home.
Mechanics will have a good laugh at this
А кто ему колёса оторвал от его машины 🙄🤷♀️😉 или это Путин оторвал колёса
Something up with that. Axles tend not to fall off without good reason.
Yes, rust! Extensive rust! Welcome to the UK 😒
@@soundseeker63 apparently the car was 'well maintained'.
@@badly_dubbed2401 It may well have been. But sadly regular servicing has no impact on the evils of corrosion.
@soundseeker63 the corrosion on the rear axle was an mot advisory 2 years ago but miraculously not mentioned since. So yeah, it was definitely known by someone and ignored.
A little DUI self repair gone wrong
a wheelie good video
The struts on both sides just gave up and detached themselves from the body of the car. I’ve seen tires fall off I’ve seen axel tubes come out never seen and entire rear suspension just give up like that.
When handbrake turns go wrong.
You can't make a silk purse from a pigs ear... Truth be told the car is probably as rotten as pear... When he had the new exhaust fitted most likely double value of the most cherish fiesta... One place for it the car park in the sky.. Still the Chinese will have the scrap metal make some with just as rubbish... (m.g)..just saying..!!!! 😂😅
a fork lift would have been more suitable to recover it and load onto a flat bed
@creamy-bunNot everyone has a forklift in their back pocket do they
To be fair the recovery guy was there within the hour and dealt with the situation quickly and efficiently. He was really fairly priced as well 🫡
Mot centre- yep its passed
Get a thirty year old car then you don't need an MOT
Still needs be maintained to current VOSA regulations like any other car though.
New car time by the looks of it marcy boy
Fiestas don't have rear axles
how the heck did that happen? :o
what’s he gonna do with that axle now he’s got the car on the truck 🤔
He rolled it off to the side of the road and came back for it after dropping the car off..
nice calm recovery operator there not an easy job most would have made a right mess of that
He was brilliant, he was there within an hour and had us safely dropped home within an hour 😀
Just looked a the mot history. Not surprised this happened. Clearly a very experienced tester passed this car on its last 2 tests. Well done that guy ! ( idiot)
Fords have terrible build quality
Bollocks
Nothing a little T-cut & gaffer tape won't fix 😂
That car should have been scrapped
