I used to consider the 2016 Quinjet the weakest one to date (I removed the dropdown stud shooter feature to create more space in the rear). But seeing it next to one of these crappy one-figure-only jets, I like it alot more. Value has gone down, prices have gone up. I'm going to much more selective in 2025 and wait for discounts.
19:46 the only problem with what you say is that there's big figs of people like bane who are just humans but stronger... yet somehow Bane grew fingers and doesn't look like a minifigure
8:17 Bucky in CATWS had dark brown hair, in CACW had for some reason had black one so hairpiece actually is accurate (if it would be on correct torso, not from previous movie)
4:56 the old version always had a problem with the white on it- a 50/50 shot if you got white or PINK. Also you stick Ant-Man through to trigger the box “explosion”
I feel like the best way this set could've been better is to just make it an +18 set so the price is more understandable, have more pieces for the lookout tower so it's bigger (thus more play features), not be cheap and use minifigure parts that at least somewhat fit better, make a new Giant Man based on that one buildable Harry and Hermione set, and just make the jet bigger and sell it separately. At least that's how I would do it.
I like old iron man new cap old scarlet and Bucky I never had the civil war fig I only had 2021s but I don’t care I like new and no agent Carter I like the falcon car set the black widow in it is better than new I like new falcon too and no war machine I like old black panther new spidey bettter and new big man / ant man
I had the old set and I'm very disappointed by this. The removal of play features, minifig proportioned giant man, the small easter egg stickers, the extra luggage car, and an actual watch tower ( I would have one of the heroes knock ant man into it and have it fall on him to take him out, which you can't do with this). Sure, it looks nice displayed, but there's no fun in this set.
The 2025 set was such a letdown, only truly good minifigure is the mk46, very few characters that we actually need new version of like war machine or vision, just a bunch of reuses and the only other exclusive figure apart from Tony is Bucky, and his figure is just terrible. Not to mention the old giant man is far superior. I’ll bricklink the iron man if it doesn’t come in a cheaper set (it probably will). Hard pass.
The Iron man Mk 46 from the 2016s set reuses de SAME legs from the Mk 43 from age of Ultron. I literally realized that a few months ago when I accidentally broke the Mk 46 legs and started looking for a replacement
I would also like to see comparison between spider-men minifgures (even though in 2010s he debuted in separate set) and antmen big figs from big figs line if you have one.
In defense of the new Giant man, I think it goes more for the minifigs being just stylized little humans rather than their own kind of human shaped person, so the more it grows the less stylized it is and closer to an actual human it looks. Regardless, the OG Giant Man was such a fun concept that I really wished they had expanded on back then with better and more detailed designs over time raather than being completely sided after that and some harry potter sets
An interesting suggestion I thought about while watching this comparison is to compare the 2025 Airport Battle to something like the Avenger's Assemble: Age of Ultron released last year because though they are from different movies, I think you'd have a much more even comparison between those than because both of those sets are more in line with the diorama style of sets Lego has been going for lately whereas in this comparison, one set is a diorama and the other is more in line with a playset Also, while I agree with many that I prefer the 2016 Giant Man figure as it is more consistent with minifigures, the Giant Man figure included in the 2025 sets is one of the better executions of the action figures done in the more modern style. The only other ones I think are somewhat comparable are the Batman, Green Goblin, and maybe the Venom figures. All the rest look very goofy to me, although that is something that some people might like Still was very interesting to see how Lego's design philosophies have changed over the past decade and what they were able to achieve with the parts budget and the kinds of pieces used in both sets
Comparing these two really does shine a huge light on how much of a ripoff the newer version is. Such a downgrade on many fronts within a 7-8 year span: it's evolving, but backwards
A me questo set piace, dopotutto è un diorama, sono le minifigures che non tutte mi piacciono, tipo scarlet witch, black panther, captain america e winter soldier e spiderman
The new giant man makes the new set look a lot more boring compared to the og one. The og giant man just had that Lego feel to it and it’s just classic
Lego isn’t for kids anymore, too many adults nowadays buy Lego and collect so many different minifigures that all sets are less about play and more about the figures.
I really can't stand them printing cap's face like that, you can barely see his mouth covered by the chinstrap. Really annoying but to "save money" they'll keep printing him like that for a while...
I will be fully honest the original was not that good of a set the only thing that is better is most of the figures and Giant Man the rest of it is not that good the tower is an ugly blob and the Quinjet is just boring. The newer one is slightly better with the new Quinjet having a more visually pleasing look (it would be great if it was in a bigger scale) and the airport looks way better than the original but I would say that neither are great sets and I feel like the main reason that the original is remembered so well is nostalgia and for the Gian Man build which is the only great thing that the two sets have. I never owned the original set and remember it being more epic in pictures but I guess that was marketing because I have never seen an actual review until now and went from wanting to get this set one day to only wanting to eventually buy Giant Man if I can find him for a reasonable price.
This « display » set makes no sense : it’s trying to represent an airport… but airports are completely flat. Boring. Not suitable for a Lego set without a big plane. The only depth they could have added would have been provided by buildings. But here they are just facades. The older set did it better by making a real tower and providing vehicles. The quinjet is also better, the figures are better. It simply is better.
OG LEGO Giant Man will forever be GOATED 😎🐐
GREAT MINISUPERHEROTODAY COMPARISON
I like how the older giant man looks like a Lego figure
The new one has a alien shape head
Atomic missile vs coughing baby
Baby…
Used to have the og set will forever be a top ten lego marvel set🔥
8:19 the 2025 Bucky looks like a custom minifig
2016: has amazing minifigures,a wonderful ant man build, an awesome quinnjet, and a fun tower build.
2024: uhh………. it comes with spider-man.
I used to consider the 2016 Quinjet the weakest one to date (I removed the dropdown stud shooter feature to create more space in the rear). Good review.
Bucky 2025 version got a transformation into Severus Piton
You will always be my most favorite TH-camr
GOATed I’m ur biggest fan love ur vids
19:46 the only problem with what you say is that there's big figs of people like bane who are just humans but stronger... yet somehow Bane grew fingers and doesn't look like a minifigure
I’m swapping those Bucky barns if I can find the prints as I had it (younger me dropped it or tore it apart)
It’s been like a year sense I’ve watched content about Lego mcu and I saw the quinjet and I feel bad for the kids who grow up with that one.
8:17 Bucky in CATWS had dark brown hair, in CACW had for some reason had black one so hairpiece actually is accurate (if it would be on correct torso, not from previous movie)
They should’ve added the “water truck”
man i miss those comic books
Do a lego scarlet witch(wanda) a vid of all the wandas every made since 2015 plz
4:56 the old version always had a problem with the white on it- a 50/50 shot if you got white or PINK.

At least that's how I would do it.
It depends if youre into play or display
Even then 2016 wins
4:25 kinda interesting Infinity War Cap' torso is basically the perfect Civil War, just with the issue of the incomplete star...
OG Giant man>>>
Wtf did they do to Bucky, bro looks so goofy in the new set 😂
I like old iron man new cap old scarlet and Bucky I never had the civil war fig I only had 2021s but I don’t care I like new and no agent Carter I like the falcon car set the black widow in it is better than new I like new falcon too and no war machine I like old black panther new spidey bettter and new big man / ant man
Its crazy how much worse the new one is
Crazy how the decade old set is a much better model than the modern display set. Better figures too.
I had the old set and I'm very disappointed by this. Does the small quinjet from this year’s set fits in the Avengers Tower like the one that comes with it?
Please, I need to know.

Hydrogen Bomb vs. Coughing Baby 💀💀

Yep only the torso was new, the rest was all resuse
I would also like to see comparison between spider-men minifgures (even though in 2010s he debuted in separate set) and antmen big figs from big figs line if you have one.
Can you compare the Antman figure from this set with the Antman construction figure set 76256?
In defense of the new Giant man, I think it goes more for the minifigs being just stylized little humans rather than their own kind of human shaped person, so the more it grows the less stylized it is and closer to an actual human it looks. Og giant man is superior but the size of the new giant man is more accurate to the size compared to the normal people in civil war
The 2025 Iron Man wins by a landslide because it doesn't reuse mark 43's leg and helmet, unlike the 2016, i H A T E how it reused them
A me questo set piace, dopotutto è un diorama, sono le minifigures che non tutte mi piacciono, tipo scarlet witch, black panther, captain america e winter soldier e spiderman
Spider man is not a bug he's an arachnid
2025 lego Iron amn mk46 legs is more accurate
2016 better 2025 has no real good things I will just strip it of all it’s minifigs and leave the set
The new giant man makes the new set look a lot more boring compared to the og one. The og giant man just had that Lego feel to it and it’s just classic
it really does feel like the new one is a down grade in every way
76314 $100?????? $50 dollars is expensive, too
Lego isn’t for kids anymore, too many adults nowadays buy Lego and collect so many different minifigures that all sets are less about play and more about the figures.
hi
I love the new Giant Man, he’s perfectly huge. But the OG will always be the greatest, works so perfectly with Lego’s goofier side
if they got the size of the new one and had it still look like a minifigure it'd be perfect!
The OG set is way better Mini-figures better builds doesn’t feel cheated like the New One.
How to get worse in EVERY way over time. - LEGO
As someone with a lack of space these dioramas are perfect for me. I want to have all the big movies on cube shelves to look at
I really can't stand them printing cap's face like that, you can barely see his mouth covered by the chinstrap. Really annoying but to "save money" they'll keep printing him like that for a while...

2016 is better than the upcoming release. The new one is trash.
Did you just learn the word "cooking"? 😅
First
23:11 WHAT IFFF? One of the audiences that are targeting are the kids who bought that set at 2016 that now are adults🤯 like me lol
No excuse for how much of a downgrade this new set is
This « display » set makes no sense : it’s trying to represent an airport… but airports are completely flat. Boring. Not suitable for a Lego set without a big plane.
