Someone would probably build a swimming rig on air, similar to full racing rig
Their gonna be swimming in circles
No need to 2050, try search *Endless pool* I think it possible in 1 -2 years
So we just need waterproof full body tracking, swimming simulation game, and special VR goggles to see in game screen.

That is staggering.

His HR monitor definitely wasn't recording correctly 100% of the time. It was reading 120 bpm during some of his maximal efforts. However, his average HR was probably lower than the rest. He's a full on endurance athlete vs a mix of endurance / power.
That was the greatest e-sports cycling moment of all time

This heartrate is fucked up. He's breathing like he has at least 170 heartrate
Jake Bamforth these ppl thinking heart rate actually matters wow :D if hes max HR is about 170 and avg 136 its about the same as me having 170 avg as I have 210 HR.
400 average is insane. Bradley wiggins avg was 440 when he broke the record for most distance cycled in an hour.
Dan Gee yeah 400 is insane but his hear rate isnt as his max heart rate is 167.

how it's that possible? Putting to pedals 300-400W and have 120-140bmp.
@@banny123456 That's how you race an Ironman bike leg for 112 Mi and still have capacity to immediately follow it with a marathon run.

This game looks amazing. This is the first time im hearing about zwift but this is revelutionary. Being able to compete with people around the globe liike this online and having an online community like this. Looks very fun. I'd like to play something like this but I see its quite expensive.
Same i did so much research the past 30 minutes and oh my it is expensive haha! i will definitely get one in the future but i do not own a bike or anything but i will make this a lifestyle someday!

That was incredible racing! Taking out MVDP and the Zwift elite...with a solo break??! And the post race interview was just pure joy to watch and listen to🙏 That honest joy and excitement and Lionels expression in the end of the interview is heartwarming and very inspiring.

Everything Is Photogenic I watched him do 600+ up the first hill for like 45 secs and I was like wow his heart rate must be going crazy. 133. Wtf. He’s an alien.
When he did his lactate test he only hit like 150 which was crazy I guess he just doesn’t beat that high

Lets be honest we all love cycling videos this is just what I need to get it going the blood I love it. I always watch these before I go out and get my body moving. I love when I always watch one of these, and then put up my heavy playlist I love like Delta Parole and then I just go haaaaard!!!! Tactic hasnt let me down yet.

My brain just can't get over the power you make per heart beat! I'm 64 and my average heart rate was 147 and my max heart rate on a ride this year is 174. I made an average of 145 watts for 2 hours. It is so inspiring to see you pump out the watts. I will never come close to your numbers, but I'm sure pumped to ride! Ride on Lionel!!!!!

534 W for 5 minutes is INSANE! Great to see a break away stick in this races, even though I was rooting for the 2-place finisher Samuel Brännlund who is my bike dealer and local competitior in the MTB races!

Hard to believe someone crushing the pedals in the 70’s and 80’s was feeling as well as a bunch of guys who riding a race like that will stay in the 90’s+ except for the climbs. It was amazing to watch you grind it out. There was a time I believed your heart monitor was screwing up because we could see the incredible watts lightly heavy breathing and a heart rate in the 120s. I was blown away! Chapeaux!!!

Wow. I have been e-racing on Zwift and it was great to see to put your performance in Zwift racing perspective. Well done!!! It’s a though race but preparation is one key element to win races like that. I would love to see more Zwift e-racing from you. However, it’s a different intensity has you experienced. But what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

I met Lionel Sanders first time in Mont Tremblant for my 1st Half Marathon and all i can say he is a real great beautiful person , no chip on the shoulder , just honest and a real great human being.
As a proud Canadian... I feel proud to have this person here in Canada. Awesome Lionel.....not just your in racing Wins but how you are just Genuine in your defeats.
We need more people like this ,and Canada should should do more to promote people like this.

LTHR at around 140bpm, max around 160bpm. In the end HR nominal value is irrelevant. What matters is power output. Which is obviously great ;)

@@knightsofni0 Exactly. Just look at Lionels breathing at 130bpm. It's around threshold/sweet spot kind of beathing. His perceived exertion at 130bpm is not what typical cyclist feels at that HR.
