@bmj1680 Hi! It is a pretty magnificent place... we love the symmetry of this style of house. Hopefully the upstairs will reopen at some time... Best wishes to you from us both 😊
@alastairjamesmainland2497 Hi Alistair! Thank you so much for your kind comment... we thought Attingham to be a very grand house and thoroughly enjoyed our visit .. Best wishes from us both 😀
Hi Louise! The wealthy certainly knew how to live, I would probably be the one waiting on lol 😆 Thank you so much for watching and commenting Best wishes from both of us 😀
@jonatmelbourne7239 Hi Jon! Pleased you enjoyed the video... it's a lovely old house. Hopefully they'll eventually re open some of the upstairs rooms. Thanks for watching... Best wishes to you 😊
Hi James! Thankyou so much for your kind comment... it's appreciated. We'd love to see some of the upper floor rooms if ever they re open... Best wishes Neil and Ant 😊
Another fine English residence. Neo Classical Regency, Louis 15 feel. Some Adam influence re ceiling, wall embellishment. Nice to see three shimmering original chandeliers. I am noticed many properties missing chandeliers, jewelry, icing on the cake. Thank you for sharing the tour.
Hi Neil and Ant hope you are both well. What a fabulous entrance hall. We loved the blue in the lounge, that was very grand loved the gold of the trimmings. The gallery was another wow the glass roof made it really light perfect to admire the paintings. There were some lovely tables, the coloured one would go well in our house 😆. The staircase was another fantastic sight so grand imagine descending those stairs to a grand ball or dinner party in that dining room fabulous. Looks like the servants had a good working area, was good to see it in use. We really enjoyed this fantastic video. Another great job of presenting such an amazing house. We love it so much. Hope you both have a great week Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Hi Dave and Dawn! Thanks so much for watching! We loved Attingham it is HUGE! The rooms were very grand and you could see just how beautiful it must have been... Our favourite room was the dining room it looked so beautiful with the fully set table by candle light... if they could get some of the upstairs rooms open it would really be a fabulous one to visit... so pleased you enjoyed the video... Best wishes to you both Neil and Ant 😊
The downstairs kitchen, servant's area, WOW. Loved the cook busily preparing epicurean delighted in the kitchen. So sad the 2nd floor collection sold off. This residence so well appointed.
@dcole9589 Hi! Thanks so much for watching! We loved it here and the 3 original chandeliers are great survivors ! Such a shame none of the bedrooms are open ... we love a good 4 poster bed! Sending you our best wishes Neil and Ant 😊
@tony8074 Hi Tony! Well spotted! We'd think this was the case too... the picture gallery is an amazing space we really enjoyed it and the theatrical approach to the staircase from it is really lovely... we hope that the NT are able to reopen some of the bedrooms as it is such a huge house that it's such a shame to only see the groundfloor rooms. Best wishes to you 😀
Lovely house! Thanks!

I enjoyed your discrete but interesting commentary. That red is fantastic. I’d call it ‘Roman red’. One of my favorite places.

@@dcole9589 We think it must've been one of the finest houses in England in its heyday! Very grand and a beautiful flow of rooms ✨️

The picture gallery looks as if its walls were one covered in fabric. The gold edging suggests such. Am I correct in that observation?
