I tried and I work fine for me. It only changed the font size in the formula bar. I love it!

I like your content and have been watching your videos for months, every one of them.
However, when you increase the font size, as demonstrated in your video, will it also default all the cells and the sheet to size 22 font? At least, that's what I experienced when following your video. It would be nice for Excel to allow a user to increase the font size in the Formula Bar by Default ONLY, which doesn't affect the cells' font in the remaining worksheet, or workbook.
    Keep up the excellent work!

I couldn't agree more. I like the Formula Bar to be a larger font so viewers can read what I'm writing, but I don't like to explode the size of the fonts in the cells.

Does the font size change affect any other „workbook sections” other than the formula bar? If not then in my opinion the placing and labeling of this option in the Options tab is totally misleading. Great videos!

As far as I can tell, changing the font size in the program options only changes the font size in the interface (ex: the Formula Bar and the row and column headings.) Thanks for your comment.
