It's so funny-every time you release a new PowerQuery video, it feels like Christmas!
Keep up the amazing work
Oh, if I could only make it a daily thing for you. But then you'd probably get sick of it. Thanks for your encouraging words.
You wanted to know how cool this video was, I would say the heat is on.
One of the best explanation I have seen on this feature of GroupBy.
Thank you for the positive critique!
Agree with the comments, you really have some great focussed content - keep up the good work!
Excellent tutorial. As always, going deeper to add a lot of value to the content!! Thank you.
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video. 👍👍

Excellent, I have not seen this anywhere else. You deserve way more subs.
We’re still a young channel, but with your kind support we’ll grow to be like the Big Guys. 👍🏼

You are most welcome. I'm glad you found it useful. I'm a fan of it as well. Thanks for watching.
I just came across your channel. Very useful and well explained tutorials. Thanks
Thank YOU. We appreciate your time.
Brilliant stuff. Great explanation - keeping it simple and focusing on the stuff we want to use and need every day. Not all those complicate DAX code. I know they are helpful, but mostly the everyday user wants to do something simple, but just need that extra step here and there. Great job!!
Thanks! I agree: the DAX stuff is super cool, but most users like to keep it simple. Thanks for watching.
Very cool! I've been looking for this kind of option with grouping.
So glad to hear that we were able to help you with your need. Thanks for watching.
Absolutely 💯 brilliant 👏. This video is a treasure.
So nice of you to say. 😊. Thanks for taking the time to watch.

Superb Video
Thank you. That’s very kind of you to say. Thanks for watching.
Coming from a Python/Pandas etc. background, trying to learn the Power Query/Power BI world for work. Have watched many TH-cam videos and yours are consistently among the best: very well explained, good real-world-ish examples. Keep up the good work!
Small issue with the accompanying files for this video, the Original Data ("Data") table in the Casing Test workbook doesn't have any alternate casings. Minor oversight.
Thanks for the kind words, and for catching the file glitch. I'll look into it immediately.
The download file has been corrected. Darn; I hate when that happens. Thanks for catching that so I don't look The Fool.
Tanks for the great video I such a useful feature. Trying to do it without groupkind would've been so cumbersome.
BTW, what cam groupkind.type be used for?
Agreed. The "Global" method is vastly more common in practice, but it's nice to know the "Local" method for unique scenarios.
