Yeah! The whole series! I try to save all to watch as I love clothing etc being handmade. We had an old cobbler in walking distance and he had that awful smelling glue, but it was just wonderful that he just let me sit near him and watch and he explained every step of a repair. Thank You for sharing your talent with us. Greetings and admiration from Texas, USA 🤠
I fell in love with hand crafted clothing, furniture, shoes, and whatnot because of drums. When I was a kid growing up in New York I played the drums. On 52nd street in Manhattan there were music shops lined up and down the street. At one end was a drum store that made custom drums. You could see them making the drums and I was fascinated. To see something I loved being made from raw materials. It got me thinking about how things were made. I think it's great that in this day and age when things are made simply by someone pushing a button on an assembly line machine that there are still people that hand make things like others have done for hundreds, sometimes thousands of years in the past. The knowledge and skill that's been past down through the generations. It's nice seeing traditions stay alive in a fast food age. Great video!!!!!!!!
I am convinced that children have a natural onclination to work with their hands. It leads to great creativity. Problem is: Every teacher in the Universe rewards children for being able to master "mathematics," and the rest are labeled academic failures. No one caters to us "right-brainers" who have an absolutely distinct learning style, but are the first to go to Special Ed. I just wonder where all those creators of the Harlem Renaissance would have ended up if Core standards had been implemented. That's for future advocacy and discussion.
There, I’ve watched this video front to back and it was worth every minute. I’m getting ready to make my first pair of hand welted boots and your video has really helped me with the process and you have some unique to you techniques that I will try. Thank you Master!
I had to remember to breathe whilst watching this!! Vicarious pleasures come at a price..... In addition to Mr Kim, who's skill and dedication can't be justified with superlatives - I'd like to thank the universe for making me time rich... I don't think I could afford such shoes, but hope the owner treasures them.. To all the people who watched the video in its entirety - you make the world spin on its axis.

I'm supposed to be making pens but I can't pull myself away from this video. The skill and patience is captivating. Also, the measuring, marking and cutting techniques apply not only to shoemaking, but to so many other crafts, it's truly a learning experience. I'm glad to see this generations-old skill is recorded and shared with the world. This, to me, is what makes TH-cam such a valuable resource, and why I'm not getting any pens made.
Hey Kim! You’re such a great inspiration to me and millions of people out there. I’m a new follower of you and your work has been a huge blessing to me ❤ you’re the best KiM!
I wonder if you apprenticed for 20 years...just the whole formative process seems amazing and perfect...surely not all students turn into the genius you have become...all I can do is watch what knowledge is provided and be in awe of each little step and then each step as a whole... sorry to blather on, for words cannot express my feelings of respect, and even admiration... I don't say that lightly... Blessings
Loving every minute of this long format video. Here in the USA, when we take a picnic, we leave the work in the workshop. But, couldn’t find a better day to go work outside in a beautiful landscape. Keep safe.

What country and city is this from? Just curious!
Hi, do they make ugly creases in the front of the shoe? It kinda looks like it has a plasticky feel only in the front when you take steps..
GREAT PLEASURE TO WATCH AN ARTIST AT WORK GREAT JOB DONE.
Hello, how exactly did you find the line of symmetry of the shoe in the design?
As an artisan who makes his own spectacles out dolphin bone I can appreciate a hard working Cordwainer skivving and chiseling his own hoof hats.
Você não produz só sapatos, são uma verdadeira obra de arte.
Pero quedó algo del zapato original viejo?? Me parece que es un zapato nuevo

What kind of glue you used?
I am confused. Why did you cut up the first pair of shoes?
The first shoes I made were just experimental shoes to check if they fit the customer's feet properly.
Why spend the time sanding the sole before stapling to the last if you are going to be trimming it more anyways after you staple it to the last?
I was in a state where I needed more sanding while working.
