  • G'day guys & welcome back to another episode!
    In this episode we head 180 km west of Rockhampton QLD, to a National Park called Blackdown Tableland. The terrain heading out to the national park is flat, baron farm lands, with spikes of granite mountains peeping up around the country side.
    Then out of nowhere, BAM! The table top of Blackdown is gorgeous, with lush pockets of palms and arid bush scrub. An adventurers dream, with bushwalks, swimming in turquoise pools, aboriginal art work, 4WD-ing and camping.
    The Ghungalu people resided this region for thousands of years, and you can see why they called this stunning landscape home.

    Glad you found the rope down the crevice and the rope ladder. Every now and then i take people down to the lap pool, down to the last falls in that gourge, which is spectactular then
    back to the next waterfall after rainbow falls. I call this paradise. Its deep and clean and untouched.

    Brought back some memories there, I absolutely loved that place. National Park issue rope ladders and all!! 😂😂. And that 4 wheel drive track can catch you out a little.
    Keep up the great work guys.

      Yeah for a reasonably small national park it sure does pack a punch mate, & that little four wheel drive track is just a added bonus, great country out there 👌
      Cheers mate & take care!

      Hey & yes it was! Just make it to the bottom of the stairs you can turn right for the main waterfall or turn left & follow the track down to the bottom, which I think most people miss! Enjoy & thanks for watching 😀

    Any tips on where to find these ropes? We’ve been and looked and looked and couldn’t find them. TIA

    • @wildtroopytravellers
      @wildtroopytravellers  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Just a hard left as soon as you get down the bottom of the stairs, & following the track as far as you can go, they are tricky to find, & possibly could of been removed

      Thanks Heaps. Yes I think they might have been unfortunately but will have another look next time
