My husband and I have been together for 46 years. I pack for both of us, because his ideal of packing is just throwing a pair of swim trunks in a bag and calling it a day.
That’s why I don’t bother with spirit or frontier anymore bc they charge u for everything selecting you seat & checked and carryon bags so then basically you end up paying the same price or close to it compared to like a delta or AA etc 😫

Having the same problem right now. I am going to Paris and then a cruise to Norway. I stink at packing! I am one person and can barely get the bag below 50 pounds! I would kill for only 39 pounds.
Do they not have overhead compartments? Would love to see a competition between packing cubes and those big zip lock garment bags that you can force the air out
The overhead compartments are typically reserved for actual carry ons and not personal items. If it’s larger than can fit under the seat, they’ll charge us $50 for it.
I flew both Frontier & Spirit, I will not, NOT fly Spirit ever again. They are the worse airline ever. the flight attendants were rude a.f. But Frontier was amazing to fly with. I would fly Frontier again if they departed my area
I agree! The fees on the airlines are stupid! That's why I fly southwest airlines, they offer two checked bags free😊

Also, consider doing laundry on the ship. May not cost much and could save you money since you don't have to pack as much. Have a wonderful time!!!

Wear you heavier clothes and shoes on the plane, Take your sweater off & shoes on the plane, put in your personal item.
